Limited edition CD? Or simply digital release? Wonder if that's purposeful at all. A digital release is purposeless. I was expecting ABSOLUTE BEST OF THE ABSOLUTE GREATEST. Or absolute greatest commentary tracks. |

They must be a bit skint |

If we roll out the massive power of QZ and rig the vote for some obscure shit. Come on you 8! |

It's like when Bowie did a phone in for people to vote on songs for his 1990 Greatest Hits tour. The NME tried to rig it so he played The Laughing Gnome. |
| Stick 05.11.2019 20:52 |
Of course Nevermore and Chinese Torture have to be the first 2 tracks. |
| Nathan H 05.11.2019 21:33 |
A bonus thing from this release is music videos are going to be included which could mean several videos remastered to the same extent as the recent 4K version of Bohemian Rhapsody. |
| pittrek 05.11.2019 22:04 |
Embarassing |
| miraclesteinway 06.11.2019 00:24 |
why on earth would they bother doing this? |
| flash00. 06.11.2019 00:38 |
And name it £ The Compilation Tour £ with BM boasting how dangerous they are on stage with never been heard before songs...i.e we will rock you while doing the Rocky Horror Show dance with your tin foil tray masks and owl 3d goggles. Clearly for the cash Bri must need a new forest to run naked through. |

Why spend time on this when they could be focusing time on something fans want. (Cough, Cough, Hammy 79) |
| Makka 06.11.2019 06:24 |
I know they've always had a big market in Japan since the early days but this just seems a bit stupid and to be honest it's just going to be another GH package. *sigh* |
| dysan 06.11.2019 07:34 |
I mean, fair does as Japan does usually have it's own comps. When was their last exclusive? Yes pointless but not without history. When was the last time they played in Japan? Probably a wise promo tool in reality - activate the local fans. |

dunno how it will help for Queen die-hard fans. |

"New Queen compilation album" You know what Queen should do... a compilation album of none single releases.. the gems amongst the album tracks that the general public probably haven't heard before. It would be full of amazing songs that would get on the radio and give Queen an extra layer and not just Bohemian Rhapsody, Don't Stop Me Now, We Will Rock You and I want to Break fucking Free. But then the debate about those songs is another thread in itself... (You and I and Sail Away Sweet Sister are tracks 1 and 2) |
| miraclesteinway 06.11.2019 13:56 |
"I want to Break fucking Free" The best thing on this forum! |
| mooghead 06.11.2019 14:11 |
Why do they always play that one?! |
| Michael Scapp 06.11.2019 14:37 |
I like that the Japanese have a different version of the new Freddie compilation. hee hee |

I really had an expectation of a live album this year, there had been talk of a Live Killers box, possibly no factual basis. Although this is Japan only I am disappointed. I think it’s time to accept we are never getting an official Hammersmith 1979, of any other 1979 concerts. |

Well, me too, i was convinced they would release some Live Killers stuff but it seems it won't be for this year (again...). |

I love those CDs |

Of course, I'd swap out a couple of tracks, but I also love that they've gone with other favourites I'd never have thought would be picked. |

This forum makes me laugh sometimes this compilation is only being released in Japan most of you probably don't live there so why complain |
| cmsdrums 08.11.2019 14:28 |
They are saying here will be a promo video for every track that makes the list... so if any 'deep cuts' make it they are going to especially make a promo video for it then?? (which is a bit rich considering they never even made one for Thank God It's Christmas!!!) |

Two number 6s.....usual press release quality control.... |
| cmsdrums 06.01.2020 21:09 |
And the press release states “ Having celebrated their magnificent 48th anniversary...”..... They formally celebrated their 20th in Feb 1990 after the Brits, so surely that should be 49th anniversary? |
| Nathan H 06.01.2020 21:37 |
I was looking at the Top 40 list and there are some surprising omissions including songs currently being played with AL - Now I'm Here, I'm In Love With My Car, Doing All Right, Dragon Attack and Tie Your Mother Down but perhaps more surprisingly Bicycle Race, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Who Wants To Love Forever and Fat Bottomed Girls! Even We Will Rock You has been omitted! Perhaps they'll make adjustments to reflect these changes! Hopefully they'll do this in the UK but not necessarily for the compilation but for the poll as it has produced some very interesting results. |

cmsdrums wrote: Two number 6s.....usual press release quality control....If you'd bother to look a little more closely, you'd see that the two number 6's are tied in number of votes and that, as a result, there is no number 7. So the "press release quality control" is slightly better than yours in this case. |

I’ve just noticed that actually - my bad |
