It would be a mistake not too. We know their doing the Miracle which is probably my 9th favorite queen album, but that just won’t work. It would be the 31st anniversary when they release it and there is no live material to release. Sure they could release just demos, alternate takes, and maybe the queen for an hour interview But the game has so much more potential. For starters there is so much live material in great audio and ok video. I mentioned in a different thread my ideas for a SABTD box set, but I would be fine with the 4K of Montreal. The 80’s albums have a lot of extra material, so it won’t be hard on that part. Are any of the American concerts fully recorded an video. If so that would be great. As an American I know that the two biggest Queen albums in America are NOTW and The Game. NOTW is the only album ( if you don’t count Hammersmith or the Rainbow shows.) to have a 40th anniversary release. Then again there is a long list of ideas Queen productions should have done. I just hope they make the right choice.
Best not to expect or hope for anything. .
NOTW wasn't expected and neither was The Raindow. We haven't had Jazz or Live Killers and pre NOTW has been overlooked despite being a period of important (in Queen history) development.
So who knows. . . We might get a £170 Flash Gorden Boxset instead!
I think Never Boring Bluray disc will be next, but strange missing a few album box sets for The Miracle box, I'm not complaining as I love The Miracle album, I'm guessing there may not be much content for the works and kind of magic.
If they're doing The Miracle, by the same token Hot Space should be up for consideration too given the amount of demos / work in progress / live available already.
