I'm back... So it's been 38 years since under Pressure was released as a single, so here is the full Early version of Under Pressure with unheard lyrics by Freddie, David and Brian. Also including a remastered version of the OG song, an instrumental and full acapella.
Enjoy! link
Many thanks! This sounds a bit like a cut and paste job, but it's very cool to hear the 'work in progress lyrics'. Brian's lines somehow sound vaguely familiar to me.
Well, not bad, i hear too much reverb in some points but it's good.
Btw, yes, few people have this full session and he didn't used the rock band stems. The session is not really around or common, but yes.
Not sure if we can tell that much. Brian's vocals may have been a guide / test of sorts, or simply wanted a small part rather than being a third voice.
Thx for the reply. It is one of the most interesting shares I've heard. I know there were tensions in the studio, which is expected when that many ego's walk in a room. Over the years I have heard Brian continued to hold a grudge w/ Bowie over something that happened when recoring together. That doesn't necessarily mean Under Pressure itself was the cause of the gripe, but it makes you wonder. Did Brian initially see himself as a vocalist on the track with the other two - and he got squeezed out. It's definately an amazing share.

Yep, this.
It was just a jam session at first. Anything's possible.
