I hate to sound overly cynical, but we're going to get great Queen-releases when Brian and Roger are dead, and not a minute sooner. Until then, I think the Rainbow-box and the NOTW-box are probably as good as it's going to get.
Is this that 9 + disc set? I'm not much a Muse fan and it always seems to be the bands I'm not keen on that do these amazing archive releases. Good on them. You can tell that they are a) fans of their own band and b) remember what it's like being a fan of a band. Nice one Muse I'll be checking this out just because you have the right idea.

It is.
This is to celebrate them being together for more than 20 years. Their early work is considered to be their best. It even includes the first demos. They are indeed a band who don't really care about sales figures or public opinion. They simply want to have fun. Their latest album is a perfect example of this.
You should definitely check it out. Maybe you'll become a fan :)
