All of the tracks from disk 1 were originally in a flac format.
Most of disk 2's material was originally in another format and I converted them to flac

How would that happen? Surely converting to flac would retain the original quality of the mp3 file, no better no worse. I don't see much point in doing it but it shouldn't result in a loss of quality.
