I know budapest has been officially released, however this is an obsolete transfer that was intended for Laserdisc and VHS which are both comercially dead formats.
Enjoy.
Do not sell. Keep it free for the fans link
anything extra or untouched in comparison to the bluray release?
i remember watching this broadcast on a local music tv network (MusiMax in Montreal) in either the late 90s or early 00s. But do not have a VCR anymore. And I think i have thrown out all my VHS tapes.
Even when it was the only viable media at the time to record on - I hated tapes. hated hated hated tapes. glad they're gone - they should never never come back.
I remember when Budapest was first released, I rushed down to my local video rental shop and hired it. When I played it the audio and visuals were hideously out of sync, making it unwatchable! And I don't mean it was ever so slightly out, but LOADS!
Thanks a lot, I managed to download it when it was up. I noticed that it can't be played properly in either WMP or VLC. In the former the video plays regularly but there's no sound and in the latter the video doesn't move and freezes in one frame when moving the time bar (the audio is half step up too, but that's likely how it was taped). Anyone know why this happens? There has to be a way to play this without any problems
