The We Will Rock You musical is opening a leg in my town next month.
I seem to recall that Brian May would appear on stage for some other legs of the musical. Let me know if I'm mistaken on that, because if that's a pattern, I'd like to start getting my hopes up!
Please be nice. I googled my question already, I'm asking because the experts are here. :P
From personal experience, I'd avoid the musical like hell. It's godawful, an old boring concept and the interplay was bad because the whole thing was horrendous.
The only thing i enjoyed was the live band queuing up to INNUENDO but now that the QAL Tour has something akin to that there's no sense in just not playing the YouTube video of that reorchestrated Bit.
Musicals are crap to begin with but i really can't see how anyone can honestly say they enjoyed the QUEEN musical.
Unless they're a girl aged 10 or up there IN THE ACT singing onstage.
It's fucking awful.
I got a free ticket and wasn't even keen on going.
I had been hoping the FREDDIE STATUE would be making the American Tour but of course it didn't.
The whole thing was pretty bad. I wouldn't even call it embarrassing. It's just a piece of shit holding the company has
God knows how it ever made any money.
Must be an upper class twit thing
Brian (& Roger sometimes) do make an appearance at the WWRY shows, but it's normally only on Special occasions, like anniversary performances, Opening/press/closing nights, Freddie's birthday etc.... But it's not always.... but with Brian it's normally only for the last section of "Bohemian Rhapsody" But they have on occasions done a tiny set of a few songs, like on the Freddie 60th Birthday performance...
I liked this site. This is a good site for Queen fans like me. I can get the latest updates on Queen artists and albums Hostsailor . Their songs are so great. The style of writing and all are so good. "We Will Rock You" recorded by Queen is a heartfelt story of outsiders. It is also a creative cautionary tale for the cyber age.
