Hey guys this is my first audio post so I hope you guys enjoy! This is taken from the original Westwood One CDs that was from a broadcast that aired on May 13, 1996. It is missing Bring Back That Leroy Brown, Big Spender, Seven Seas Of Rhye and See What A Fool I’ve Been. All Commercials have been removed.

I have this already, but you might be interested to know about the original (longer version) BBC transcription discs.
A Pre FM UK BBC transcription disc (CN 2526/S) was produced on April 26th 1976.
Presented by Brian Matthews, it also includes Bring Back That Leroy Brown and See What A Fool I've Been: link
The concert was re-broadcast on August 21st 1976 in the UK by BBC Radio 1: link
Another transcription disc was produced by the BBC in 1983 (CN 4241/S) with that same track list, this time presented by Richard Skinner: link
The concert was re-broadcast again by BBC Radio 1 on December 27th 1989: link
I'll post a link to my recording of that one if anyone wants it.
This clip from a few years back gives an indication of sound quality.
A flac download link for the complete broadcast is provided in the video description, along with some lineage info:
The famous "Westwood One Radio Broadcasts" are in fact bootlegs in disguise.
NOT FOR SALE - ALL RIGHTS RESERVED - UNAUTHORIZED DUPLICATION IS A VIOLATION OF APPLICABLE LAWS - FOR LICENSED BROADCAST USE ONLY
Really, is there at least one of these sentences true?
(1) and (4) are clearly false, (2) may be true only for broadcast but not for sale, and (3) makes no sense in this shady context.

Exactly, it's WESTWOOD ONE New York NY not Swindon Wiltshire, that's the difference, they are allowed to do anything they want.
I'm questioning the whole concept of "FOR LICENSED BROADCAST USE ONLY".
Although it looks perfectly legal, I still think it's kind of a fraud to produce these CDs with a company label and a catalogue number, instead of sending to an affiliated station or to the internal archive a CD-R labeled with marker.
The bold title SUPERSTAR CONCERT SERIES sounds like a shameless marketing advert not like a hint for the archivist were to store the CD.
Genuine BBC transcription discs (vinyl and CD) are sometimes labelled in a similar fashion, ie Pop Spectacular.
These discs often find their way into the public domain, which is actually to our advantage.
Many of these discs have not been shared, perhaps you would prefer it remains that way?
In which case you would rather the Westwood One disc is not shared?
I myself am not concerned with labelling, but with content.
If you downloaded it, then perhaps just thank the sharer.
Here's another interesting "Westwood One" issue that somebody just asked about it in another thread.
#94-15 (wrongly labelled Wembley ARENA) was produced in 1994 for a re-broadcast in April of that year.
It's possibly another "unfixed" version that was originally issued on triple vinyl by Westwood One back in 1986. link
