According to the original poster, "The friend who recorded the concert gave me his cassette but it was so old and worn that it tore and we could not fix it. At least I was able to save most of the recordings. As for the sound quality, it is a question of mastering. I do not have professional equipment and I spent quite a few hours on the job, but am quite content with the result."
This is missing everything from Get Down Make Love's vocal improv to partway through Crazy Little Thing Called Love, so the guitar solo, Under Pressure, and Fat Bottomed Girls are not on here. The one advantage in this regard is that Another One Bites The Dust is complete on this recording, as is God Save The Queen. Even so, this is a major improvement over the original source.

Nice find! The YouTube post says "Converted from SoundCloud to Youtube with link so there should be a SoundCloud post somewhere a little close to the master.
Fantastic - always great to hear new and better sounding sources.
People who think this is "boring" must be delightful to hang out with at museums or archaeological sites.

Thanks for those - they definitely sound a bit better, as there's one less round of digital compression.
But the transfer itself is highly overblown. Any chance someone could diplomatically try to get him to transfer the cassette at 1/3 the volume and send them the WAV files? This is a great sounding tape that could sound so much better than what we have here.
