I prefer the old days when Brian used to construct and play melodic solos. That was hard to listen to, although the song itself is okay.
I agree. Nevertheless it's nice to see Brian in the spotlight these days, being it under the Queen brand or releasing solo music, doing collaborations, etc etc.
This kind of music is like a perpetual jam session - thousands of bands playing for decades variations of the same inept songs, with more or less craftsmanship but with zero creativity.
Brian's addition to Five Finger Death Punch doesn't make any difference, except for his white sneakers who complement blue on black.
FFDP is described by AllMusic as having an "instantly recognizable sound". That's true, I instantly recognize a lot of other bands in their sound.
