Great news that May & Taylor have confirmed at the oscars that they will NOT be recording any new material with that boring fake Adam Lambert and i am so relieved because Queen would be committing rock n roll suicide recording with that joker. I never minded Paul Rodgers recording with Queen because he has a great rock n roll pedigree. Lets hope our boys get bored of touring with this boring fart Lambert and give Queen fans so dignity back. |

Bri and Rog can do what they want but it's using the Queen name that rankles with alot of fans. |

Geez. I expected at least a charity single. I'm not the greatest fan of the collaboration but it's what they've been doing for the longest. To NOT have recorded anything by now is kinda unheard of, but hey. ..they're fairly old men. |
matt z 26.02.2019 16:02 |
Btw: SOURCE? |
Golden Salmon 26.02.2019 16:41 |
I'd expect a live album at some point... maybe. They've got the documentary coming already. There's a chance they don't want to go back to recording a studio album if they're not inspired enough at the moment, and maybe it's for the better since their prime is way far in the past. Perhaps when they get older and run out of energy to keep touring, only then they'll record their last songs I guess. In any case, they can change their mind - and they probably will on short notice. |
The Fairy King 26.02.2019 16:45 |
I hope they will. |
Vocal harmony 26.02.2019 16:51 |
They are doing what feels right for them and enjoying the experience. I get it that some don't like it, some love it and some aren't bothered. What I don't understand is why some people who don't like it or apparently have no interest have to keep going on about how much they don't like what the band are doing or how much they dislike the current singer. |

Vocal Harmony: Its called passion for the band and that is why many including myself hate the new line up because they were dynamite in the 70s and 80s with Freddie & John. We do not like seeing May & Taylor on stage with someone who is not as gifted and who cannot write music or play any instrument, they really are short changing themselves and they all look ridiculous on stage together since Lambert is half there age. |

I dont think it has much to do with what Brian and Roger want. It's probably Adam's record company that doesn't allow him to record (and release) material with Brian and Rog. edit: record and release. |

Jim Beach got them together and said I forbid you to record, your not doing it. . . . . . And he's still got a job! This reads like one of your flights of fancy. What they have said in the past is that they have no plans to record an album (at the moment) but that's old news and that's very different to what you are claiming. |

Vocal Harmony: This is recent news from the Oscars! Brian has ruled out recording with Lamberk, so sorry to disappoint you but you can always listen to Lamberk's limp solo albums lol Proper Queen fans get there dignity back at last ! |

A few sources "behind the scenes" have suggested that they did actually record a couple of songs together. As for whether they'll actually record a full album or not, it's mere speculation. AL has said he'll likely record with them. Roger has said they'll likely record. Now, as far as GOLD is concerned, they've said at The Oscars "they won't" (although there's no actual source provided and no-one but GOLD seems to recall this being said). At the end of the day, I couldn't care less. It's a non-discussion, and what will be will be. They've been known to say things and then go a different route before. We'll know when we know. |
Thistle 27.02.2019 15:25 |
And now Queen are on the radio station "GOLD". So I'm off to listen :p |

They recorded a song with Adam and a friend of his called Alisan Porter in Nashville last year. |
Vocal harmony 27.02.2019 16:31 |
Yes they did indeed record in Nashville. This comment from the Oscars is very strange. Miss Gold said she couldn't watch the Oscars because it wasn't available on UK TV ( it was) now she's quoting something from it that no one has heard, with the added tag that "Queen's management forbid it". |
rockchic65 27.02.2019 17:08 |
None of Adam's fans who watched the entire Oscars and all the backstage and red carpet interviews have mentioned a thing about it and they definitely would have if Brian had said it, so my guess is Gold/Gerry/not so happystar is making up rubbish again, no change there. |

All you glamberts are mad if you actually think Queen would release music with that loser Lambert after he has been dumped from his own label. Brian has had lapses of bad taste in the past but even he is not that thick to put out a record with that tosser. For all of you my source was the morning paper who reported that Queen have ruled out recording with Lambert. This makes sense as Lambert has been with Queen a long time now and no record has ever been released. If they have recorded together it probably was only a tester and not for any general release. |

There's been plenty papers in the past saying it and when you read what was actually said it's nothing like their headline. They've never ruled it out just said they aren't thinking of it at the moment, been saying the same since 2014. And despite what you think Roger in particular would record with Adam in a heartbeat, it's Bri & Adam that have been reluctant. And Adam has a new label and if he were to record with Bri & Roger they could release it a multitude of ways, his label doesn't matter. I don't think they will release anything together at the moment, Adam's in solo mode and gearing up to release his own music, wouldn't be a good idea for him to put music out with them right now but what they do in the future is anyone's guess. I'd love them to do an album or even an EP but if they don't no problem. |
Star* 28.02.2019 07:56 |
Lets hope this car crash never happens. Queen will have a bigger flop on there hands even worse than the sales of The Cosmos Rock album with Paul Rodgers. May has learnt his lesson now not to record with dodgy artists and Lambert is one of them. I predict they will never release anything together. |
A Word In Your Ear 28.02.2019 11:06 |

^^^ Exactly In fact in a written interview in 2014 Brian said this “I wouldn’t be averse to recording again,” May considers, “but we haven’t discussed it. And we spent a huge amount of time making that album with Paul Rodgers, going through quite a lot of pain, and I don’t think it made the slightest dent on public consciousness. So I would be cautious about being in a recording group called Queen without Freddie. Maybe we should be doing something else with Adam. Maybe we should be part of his recording future.” And Roger said this - “It certainly made us think twice about making a Queen album with another singer,” he adds. “There’s a resistance among the record-buying public to that idea, because Freddie was so inextricably linked with us. When you lose the brand, people aren’t interested. That’s why even Freddie’s solo albums, or Mick Jagger’s, or certainly mine, aren’t going to break any sales records. People want the brand. It’s a horrible word, but very apt.” “I’ll say one thing,” Taylor states. “If we have the material, then I wouldn’t go into making a record with any other singer than Adam, because he is so perfect with Queen. He has the range and the talent. I certainly wouldn’t be averse to giving it a go.” So whether they eventually do or not it's clear they would consider it if they felt it was the right time. |

Just been on their website, and can't find anything remotely like what you've said. Even when refining a search using the page's own search function, nothing is returned. What I did see, however, is Helen Flanagan's "barely there" underwear and some other tart's "barely there" lingerie. Sums up the tat you're reading mate. I know you didn't want the paper slagged off, but it's true. Total gutter press. |

If it was Saturday or last Monday....it wasn't at The Oscars. The Oscars were on Monday there. I'm confused. If they confirmed it at The Oscars, it would be only a few days ago. Nothing at all returns to support what you're saying - are you sure this is what was said? |
