Here is an instrumental mix I've made of "Father To Son". It loses ALL the vocals (including the outro) however it's faintly heard during some parts. The only exception is the quiet piano part after the length guitar solo.
I'm sorry it's an MP3 file and only 192 kpbs but it's the best quality I've got.
Despite being mono sound, it's still very enjoyable to listen to!
Sounds like another Spread Your Wings/Don't Stop Me Now bass track case. During the "Take this letter" section, Freddie does slightly different phrasing "letter"while "take it son and hold it high" sounds completely different and may even have alternative lyrics

Yes it does sound really interesting. I've tried loads of others but this is one of the most effective as it reveals a lot you don't hear in the proper version.

Yes it is - I separated the stereo track into two mono tracks and inverted the bottom track (or the previous right stereo track). I converted it to mono as it removed the vocals better.
