I listened to an audio interview with Brian and Roger from back in '89 earlier this morning and toward the end they mentioned a project that they were working on and Brian mentioned that he didn't want to give any more details and thereby ruin the surprise. He also mentioned that it might not happen. Roger chimed in that it involved playing live in front of an audience. We all know that there were no more live shows at this point in the band's career. Obviously, whatever they were referring to never transpired (to my knowledge). I've been a pretty solid fan since '92 and have never heard this referenced before. Anyone have any insight as to what they might have been planning? I find this pretty intriguing. The link is below. link
Sorry can't watch it right now but Brian and Roger worked on "Rock Aid Armenia" that year.
Also there were RUMOURS about a few Live shows in the Netherlands ( no offense, but why there ? ) and a TV performance for "Wetten, Dass" on german TV.
Ethier they were lying to keep up appearances, it was very wishful thinking or something very small was planned and Freddie went down hill too quickly for it to be reality.
Although he was already too ill to guest with the others & the cross at the fanclub in december of 88.
