I'm pretty sure that those thing are no longer known and are forgetten but i bet that „There Must Be More to Life Than This“ was one of the first song made for the album.
The demo tracks on the Freddie Mercury "Solo" box from 2000 (according to the notes) were recorded somewhere between January 1984 and January 1985, although several sources state sessions started in early 1983. We know that his recordings with MJ were mid '83.
I'm not 100% convinced a lot of stuff would have materialised in '83 tbh, as Queen would have been working on "The Works" throughout mid '83 to early '84.
I reckon the bulk of MBG would have been through '84.

In '83 Thriller was already released. He kept saying he missed out on being on the Thriller album...I think his sessions with MJ must have been somewhere in 81 or summer of '82.
Yeah, I know - typo. Should've read as mid '82, indicating that at least one song (TMBMTLTT) was conceived and worked on as early as that. I believe Queen had actually recorded a version for Hot Space as well.
Anyway, that's not really the issue, as it seems TMBMTLTT was never originally intended to be on the solo album in the first place (so it wouldn't really count as an MBG session). It still leaves the timeline for MBG sessions as between '83 and early '85 (the bulk of it being done in '84).
He would've been developing a taste for solo work through the Michael Jackson collaboration, then the Metropolis / Moroder work, then finally Mr Bad Guy. "Developing a taste for" probably does include sketchy ideas for tracks, tracks that Queen probably would've been reluctant to accept.
Yeah, it actually quotes the MJ collaboration as '83 - but it also tells you that the info on the site is based on what we've deduced so far from various sources, is not fully confirmed from Queen Productions etc and is highly speculative.
I was quite disappointed that when "Made in Heaven album was recorded the three remaining Queen members never worked on "Man Made Paradise" which was on Mr.Bad Guy" and rumoured that it nearly made "The Works" album. Somewhere out there there is a Queen version with Freddie on vocals. You see plenty more gems available so do not listen to May & Taylor's lies that there is nothing left to put out. They should have worked on some more unreleased tracks and maybe John may have interested in joining them do that, but i realise its too late for any of that now as "May & Taylor" have wasted 10 years of there created life playing karaoke hits with the "gift from god" but we shall not go there! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

But you did go there. If you didn't want to, you wouldn't have mentioned it.
This is about the MBG timeline, not your deep-rooted hatred for AL. It made no sense for you to even bring it up.

He could've been lying, or could've mis-remembered. Frederick wasn't the sort of bloke who was obsessed with dates (well, of that sort) and timelines, unlike myself.
Thislte If you read my thread carefully i was saying that a certain track on "Mr Bad Guy" been "Man Made Paradise" should have been included on the "Made in Heaven album instead of all that trash which was track 13. and that May & Taylor have wasted time touring with pussy boy instead of working some more Queen magic on unreleased Freddie tracks.
You must admit Queen have exhausted all possible routes now with pussy boy and its time to move on to other things and get back to been proper Queen.
I did read it Gerry. You're point would have been good but for the last wee snark, which you obviously couldn't resist. You don't want to go there...but you kinda do lol
