I don't see anything in the photos that seem particularly to have influenced the Queen name logo or crest. The Queen crest is based off of many of those types of crests seen throughout history going back to the time of the knights. Freddie utilized within the Queen Crest, the Zodiac signs for the members (plus the phoenix). It is also in the style of the Royal Coat Of Arms for the UK. The lettering/font seems to be influenced by Olde English lettering.

Yes, that must be it. Surely there's a shortage of coats of arms, crowns, old English fonts and references to the Queen in Great Britain.

This has to be the greatest post I've seen on this in weeks.
There are many permutations: It could be an out and out rip-off of the crest shown above, or it could have been subliminal. It could be neither, and it's just something he came up with. The coat of arms you see there is the UK COA, the lion representing England and the unicorn representing Scotland. As stated numerous times, Freddie's inspiration was the star signs of each group member. I don't think the name has been taken from this either, and just Freddie being a smart-arse with the connotations.
