It is a permanent preservation press appeared in 2CD. That legendary recording is “London performance on December 26, 1979”. Although it is famous also for images such as short television broadcasting and leakage pro shots on this day, this album is a live album that completely records the entire story of the show. It is a superb audience recording recorded at the traditional name hall “Hammersmith Odeon”. The biggest point is in the upgraded sound, but first of all the show position. Speaking of 1979, “JAZZ TOUR” became “LIVE KILLERS”, but this work is somewhat different “CRAZY TOUR”. Let’s look back from the schedule at the time to organize the situation. link |

Just to be sure what this is - is this the master tape of the tape used for the old "Complete Kampuchea Concert" from Gypsy Eye? And thanks of course |

They have access to many masters from this taper (12-8-80, 5-13-85, and 7-13-85 at least), so this is almost certainly as good as it's going to get. |

Recently, Wardour has released several CDs that brushed up their recordings.pittrek wrote: Just to be sure what this is - is this the master tape of the tape used for the old "Complete Kampuchea Concert" from Gypsy Eye?Precisely. They are unknown whether or not it is using the original master tape. However, it is much clearer and more lively than what was already released from Gypsy eye. |

A dream come true! Essential rock live recording since this a legendary band at its peak. So, Wardour now has all the tapes from "Kinnie" or "Kiney" or whatever the writing is. I really do hope many such tapes are to follow!en |

Let's wait for someday they are found. |

Thank you. The mix of the sound of the band and audience is perfect. I can hear john deacon doing those runs perfectly, and Brian in the spot where he should be in the mix. This concert is epic. The best way to start 2019 |

He was always pushing the faders up for all those little moments where each member needs to be highlighted. |

Thanks BootLuca, do you happen to have also Wardour 306, Definitive Sun city 1984 to share? It seems like it is an upgraded version of the soundboard recording. Grazie. |
pittrek 03.01.2019 13:56 |
Are you guys sure it's a lower generation tape? The more I listen to it the more it sounds to me like simply a remaster of "Complete Kampuchea Concert", with the main difference being that they raised up the volume during the originally silent parts, raising also the level of tape hiss for the parts. |
. 03.01.2019 14:16 |
Wardour are having a re-release field day with all sorts of definitive claims. Hyde Park audience for instance is from a lossy source. |

If there's more treble, that tends to bring out tape hiss. This could very well be the same copy of the tape used for the old Gypsy Eye bootleg, but it's still pretty clear that Wardour has access to this taper's masters. |
