On Brighton Rock he sings:
A happy pair they made, so decorously got laid
'Neath the GAY illuminations all along the promenade
So, since the SHA album, everyone could’ve known Freddie was gay and got laid
There you go.
Too bad I only find this proof now, otherwise Brian and Roger could’ve used this trivia in the BoRhap movie
Bollocks "Brighton Rock" was written by Brian May and nothing to do with Freddie coming out as gay.
Even back in 1974 the band did not have a clue Freddie was even gay, only rumours around the roadies.
The roadies would tease Freddie at soundchecks by instead of singing "Now im here" they would change that to "Now in queer"
Freddie sacked many homophobic roadies.
