Queen
Munich, Germany
Olympiahalle
May 21, 1982
This is a substantial upgrade of the Munich audience tape, leaving previous versions in the dust. It is in stereo sound and much more listenable, so we can now appreciate this excellent show. This copy is reasonably close to the master (although second generation at best, as evidenced by the layers of tape hiss at the end of the recording).
The band use Sheer Heart Attack as the second number for the third and final time, and this essentially marks the end of the experimentation with the setlist on this tour.
Thanks to Peter Wiley for sending our pal Gregsynth his tape collection (and of course to the taper). Anything that's an upgrade will be posted.

No problem. I’m glad I could help out. I sent Greg all of my Queen tapes because if I had kept them, they would’ve just sat there and not been played or converted to digital. I’m looking forward to hearing them too!
Yes, It is me. :)
I've been away from "the game" for a while...You know how it goes, Was HUGE in to Queen on this board and alt.music.queen really back in the day, traded cassette tapes with many many people from all over the world. I moved all this to the back burner when I met a girl and got married. Hardly listened to a single Queen song in all that time. Fast forward a little bit, and we get a divorce. No I am back and better! I am, though, so glad I had kept all of those cassettes. I always had it in my head that I was going to put them all on "CD", or now digitally. I just didn't have the time when I got married. Then "met" Greg and offered to just send him every cassette I had. I'm glad I did because I was told there were quite a few upgrades that I am happy to have found out. I'm so glad I could help out after all your guys hard work that you do to get these shows out there for us to listen to. If there is anything else I can do, I'm all for it. I'm back even more into Queen than I was back then.
...now i just need to figure out how to change my damn signature lol...Myspace? wth was I thinking
