So 2 weeks ago i decided to make a video review of the film... then I realised how boring video reviews of films are. There's no pace, a lack audio excitement and it's just staring at somebody's face for 10 minutes...
So i decided to turn my video review into a fast moving, hopefully occasionally humorous retrospective look at the film with the odd Freddie/Roger/Norman Sheffield impression and off-kilter singing... Queen's probably the most popular it's been for quite a while, so why not put something like this out there?
The running time may seem daunting, but give it 5 mins and if it's not doing anything for you, then don't worry... but I hope you will like it. There probably won't be anything in it which you guys won't know but I think there's bits in it which hardcore Queenies will appreciate. link
I noticed for the first time that Winnie is standing behind Freddie at his 39th bday party in Munich (blowing out the candles with Paul standing awkwardly next to him not taking his eye off him and even blowing with him to help like he's fucking 3 year old)...Jim Hutton was also at that party........boy Freddie must've loved the drama. XD
Yes one big-ass sentence in which i said blowing twice. Sue me.
It's my first proper content related upload on that channel, so it would have been surreal if i had a load of subscribers... when i refer to 'lots of people'... I do just mean people, not fans or subscribers, hence the lack of those words in my wording.
Thanks for the nice words though for the rest that have watched it. The views are literally treacling in.
I hope it's not your last Luke because I've just watched it and I really enjoyed it. I loved your 'Freddie' and 'Roger' and you made great use of clips and audio. Very entertaining. Keep em coming.
Good impression of Freddie's speaking voice!
And Malek sounds like "slow-down not very articulate version" of Freddie.
And a really cool review. I like your sense of humour. I will show this review to fellow Queen fans.
