In the comments Brian mentions the above
Whether it's true or not is another thing but it sounds exciting, I'm always after new stuff we haven't seen before

He's been answering people in the comments as well, someone asked it's for a DVD or a one time cinema showing and he said "watch this space"!!!
He also confirmed his daughter was in the crowd shot at the front and that the vocals are all Freddie.
He posted this as well link
I don't understand people getting excited about a complete Live Aid set from the film...
We have the footage of the actual concert. I'd much rather watch that than the actors playbacking to Queen's audio...
I can see for evermore on here people are going to have to put (BH) after things referring to the film.
I'm surprised the general consensus is that the Live Aid part was good. I thought it all MEH. Perhaps they could've concentrated on some off-stage drama - an alternate timeline happening while the concert played. Mary looking through Freddies things and finding his AIDS results? All the band families watching and being movie proud. This would've complemented the ACTUAL clip rather than attempted to recreate it.
Like Back To The Future 2 being woven around the action from BTTF 1.
There was an episode of the comedy series "urban legends" about the back stage antics at live aid, it gets things wrong and plays others up for laughs (Like Freddie not leaving Bono alone) but is far more researched than the Borap movie.
Imagine sitting with Freddie and Paul Prenter at a club in New York City in '82 and they were both turned to look at you and you noticed that had fully erect bananas?

Filming extra segments of Live Aid does seem pointless when we have the real thing.
But now we have a version with the camera going through Freddie's Legs and giving Brian a close up.
And Freddie Pinching someones bum.
Why watch the old stuffy actual footage at all?
