Videoclips: 2. bohemian rhapsody 9. crazy little thing called love 10. killer queen
Wow. That's pretty impressive for sure.
Would be nice to incentivise a GREAT release. ... but you know. They might simply see money bags and release a ON AIR/WEMBLEY/BEEB boxed set with a DVD featuring 3 live songs from Kampuchea and 5 QALMBERT vids
The simplest LK set would be the original 2 discs, plus a DVD of a complete show.
The dream is the original LK, plus a disc of songs not included (would be interesting to know if they'd done contemporary edits and overdubs to extra material - I know I'd be in the minority wanting to hear that).
Perhaps expanded like Bowie did with David Live and Stage - inserting the extra stuff and correcting the running order. A lovely 2 CD 3 LP set.
If they release a Live Killers box set it'd be pretty stupid to include 2 discs with the original album. I know that we are promised the answer to the question whzt song is from what show but I'm pretty sure in the end this will not happen.
I'd like to get something completely new...
And Crazy tour stuff.
I expect nothing, the safest option for a Queen fan since this is what we usually get :-)
I reckon Paris 1979 is a good bet because there are three shows which means any weaker performances means they can be replaced. Also all the three shows are filmed (I don't think any other shows on the tour were filmed in entirely). But the one thing which is making me say no to this is that only one camera was used to film the whole show (I'm hoping it isn't true).
Japan 1979 is even less likely because Freddie's voice was in the worst shape ever despite two shows being filmed with several cameras.
Hammersmith 1979 looks like the best bet if they have found the multitracks! A great show despite that they didn't perform Fat Bottomed Girls!
I would love their to be a live release from that year as I think it was the best live year the group did - great setlists and great performances (ignoring Japan).
We want it all and we want it now!!!
We want 45 CD Live Killers box set with all shows without overdubs. (1 CD with soundcheck before show) + 5 DVD - Paris and Tokyo concerts with bonus material. (Spring 2019)
We want Hammersmith Odeon 1979 DVD + (24 CD soundboard tapes from Crazy Tour included famous Newcastle shows, Liverpool, Dublin, Brighton, All London shows) + bonus material 2CD Open Air Saarbrucken 1979 (Autumn/Winter 2019)
If the tapes exist why we couldn't get this kind of release?

Sounds great but unfortunately the QPL mantra is charge as much for as little as possible.
The original Live Killers was a patchwork quilt which was flawed anyway so I'm not all that interested in hearing that again when they have complete shows which would be a proper multi-disc boxset rather than just an expanded release.
Value for money and all that.
