Has this been mentioned here? Opens on 18th October on Carnaby Street ahead of the film.
Might be interesting if they have some exclusive stuff. Otherwise it will just be HMV with Queen mugs and calendars.
Damn. Anybody here have paypal here?
Q: 2: would anybody be willing to ship something if anything that's actually worthwhile and NOT overpriced should arrive?
I'll report back if it's good
Also, got me thinking they should do street food.
The Fat Bottomed Grill serves Bicycle Rice, Don't Stop Me Chow and Jealou-Sea Food
Usual stuff. Plus Brian May guitar shorts.
Kind of like being excited to go to the Lego store and when you get there you just think... 'ah right... Lego.'
Knock yourself out gang!
Finally went. You know, it's OK. Quite a nice little diversion. Didn't buy anything and really wished they had some signed stuff or something a bit different.
I've been to the shop. It's pretty cool. To Apocalipsis_Darko they have limited edition numbered lithographs of certain photographs/tour posters (I think it is a run of 100 of each one.). Not cheap - £60 as I recall, but cool.
They have a display of handwritten lyrics by the band (I think from Brian's personal collection) and other tour-based memorabilia in a little glass case which is pretty cool.
And Queen denim jackets which I think were £125 if you just want to burn your money, haha!
I totally would have offered to buy stuff for people, but sadly I live in Liverpool and won't be back in London while the shop is still open... unless they extend their opening time. I'm back in London I think round 12th Jan, but I think the shop closes on 6th, right?
Here you are - random photos. There are costumes too, but from the film obviously - link
There are many photos, but it's just the poster size tour lithographs for sale. I didn't shot all the options.
