I've always wondered when exactly the famous Magic Tour photo of Freddie was taken. The one of him in his yellow drummer boy jacket with fist in the air which was used as the basis for the Montreux statue as seen on the MIH album cover. I assume it's from the Saturday show at Wembley but I can't for the life of me find the actual moment in the concert where he strikes that pose? Maybe during TYMD? Does anyone know, it's always niggled me somewhat...
Oh ya beauty! Yes that's it alright. Well, well the first night, eh? No wonder I couldn't find it. Thanks Chinwonder, great work - mystery solved. ????

It wasn't really a mistery, everyone who saw both shows knows it...
BTW, the picture was taken by Suzie Gibbons.

So if it was mistery for you, I assume you never watched the first night nor you bought the Wembley 25th Edition DVD which has both nights on it?
I do have the DVD and have watched all the footage. But I wasn't studying it looking for one pose in particular. I just happened to be browsing the forum and something I saw made me wonder if anyone knew the answer. I thought I'd ask because that's one of the purposes of this forum - to share Queen knowledge. I hoped I would receive a friendly, positive, grown up reply in with the answer and avoid any childish pedantic posts and Chinwonder very kindly provided the former. For which I again thank him.
is probably from TYMD as chin mentioned but freddie did very similar position(maybe same) at the end of KOM. but the angle change before he get fully into his positionn.
I have another question related to this first show: was it ever officially realeased on a cd or dvd because from the few excerpts I have seen, I think Freddie's voice sounds stronger and better that first night? There are some bits here and there on you tube but I've never seen the friday night as a whole YT video. I guess it has been officially released or we would find it shared on Queenzone.
I actually quite sure that the first night was relleased on cd at least one time in early 2000's
and i think my dad still have that cd somewhere. i could be wrong but i dont think so
But there is high chance that i'm talking bulshit since my memory didn't serve me well. But i remember he buy some collection on net where he have friday night on cd and labelled as official. (Okay i will stop posting no sense, let's get back to topic).
