99%? How do you know the song's riff was only 1% of the song. Too many assumptions here.
Joking aside, how much do we know about that song? Was that an Ibex / Wreckage thing? Who has spoken about the song in interviews, etc,?
Honestly curious here.
I think one of the members from Wreckage said in an interview that they had an early version of Liar with lyrics 'Lover, why don't you believe me'
Also it was a song on a handwritten Wreckage setlist.
Lover was an Ibex song ... that "was almost the same tune" as Liar.
