Older Jesus freakier here. Please visit link or wereco.org for some stuff of mine. Apart from one of those methods, I am busy coding a database which uses perfect ordered hashing. For any two keys k1, k2 , k1 < k2 ==> hash(k1) <= hash(k2). In every trial run, 100000 randomly generated 64 bit keys are hashed to 32 bit values with zero collisions. Lots of such hash functions can be contrived. The earlier unordered hash functions are also part of this library. This package also has lots of information as an .odt on different forms of hashing including very excellent compression techniques better than those mentioned on the web-site. This is part of a Database management system I am coding. Although it need not be, but SQL can also be the query language for this database, but the database itself is traditional, classical ,general and fairly ideal. However the main advantage of this will be the quality of the underlying search, since it will always only scan/access close to the bare minimum number of records which actually satisfy the necessary condition. From my rough calculations it's estimated capacity is close to a trillion records although more is also possible. The file is not too large at all. If anyone is interested I will upload it. The database code , since it is incomplete will not be part of this upload. The rest which is finished will be.
Well it's probably the wrong forum anyway, but if there are more clear headed people with a genuine heart-ache, the offer still stands. Clothes always tell what a tailor is made of, and the design always tells what a designer is made of.Those who think good of wealth will only have all the good including love that their ill-gotten wealth can afford to buy, and those who think good of virtue will only have all the good including love that their own virtuous deeds can afford to give them freely. Till the last time I checked the only false-inspiration, or more correctly temptation that money ever had to offer any professional was to debase it. Maybe you still cannot admit that money like every other foul way is the most devious and the most disastrous one of them all, and cannot acknowledge the fact that the motive for doing anything should never be to make money or the result will be mediocre at best. Although you can always expect generosity and selflessness from some some Oracle corp or some Microsoft corp or 007 or even your rulers perhaps and despite the significant current and historical record to the contrary, you are hoping against hope that they will certainly come to your rescue lavishing you with "money for nothing and chicks for free" ; just like they have already saved zillions of satisfied customers so far and you think that everyone else who loves money enough to always only think about making it, really cares a whit about you.
Nothing personal. For starters it is most likely this web-site is using a data base. If I remember correctly, from one of the error messages I remember seeing long back, it may be MySQL but I am not sure. Are there any programmers among the members here ?

What are you after exactly?
Alarm bells. Stupid spamming troll.
This seems error free. A few of my spectacular discoveries partially documented, is in the .odt file, of the package, which constitutes its bulk. The index for the database is done but has to be tested, therefore not included. Any serious aficionados of computing willing to volunteer and lend a hand are always welcome.
Here is how to open the file. The actual file name is hash.tar.gz .
For ,the opera browser choose Save-Linked-Content-As, and thereafter give it a name with extension .tar.gz , such as hash.tar.gz. If point and click does not work, to unpack on the command line issue, tar -xf hash.tar.gz. This is the gnu tar utility.
Unfortunately if you are using Netscape then right-click and Save-As does not work, but rather saves login.aspx. I cannot say about internet explorer and google chrome. probably just as bad if not worse. It would help if it were possible for those who are interested to be able to download the file properly.
But at least you know how to post a clickable link which half the regular chumps here are incapable of regardless of being told umpteen times. Fair play.
