The drums are higher on the mix than the radio broadcast. This might just be 2007 audio mix but since i have nothing to compare with, i don't know for sure.

Yep .. like I though it would be. Minimum efforts from Qp for maximum cashmilkin.... Just an audio rip from the orginal DVD release. You know why? Dimes have to be paid to the BBC to get a copy of the multitracks.

I thought an issue with Live Aid is that there are no multitracks or different camera angles, and only the original stereo feeds and visuals (bbc being the main ones for the Queen set) are all there is?

Actually this article mentions multitracks existing:
"Although video of the BBC One broadcast with high-quality multi-track audio was kept, many performances from the US were not shown in the UK and so were still missing."
But only God knows how accurate it is

True yep... MTV covered the USA part and all multitracks are lost and the BBC was responsible for the Wembley deal and these Multitracks exist.
