ANNOUNCEMENT: Share no longer here. Please go to https://queenchat.boards.net/thread/742/queen-unusual-anthology for the final update. 2020-06-02 UPDATE - ALL TRACKLISTS IN THIS SITE ARE OUTDATED - See changes here View post on imgur.com Creating this anthology has been a real treat for me, since the compilation process allowed me to fill the gaps in my archives as I didn’t own some of the tracks included here, or in their best sound quality – sometimes requiring some restoration from me. That said, it involved a lot of work, time and even money. I’ll always appreciate any fan share that involves any amount of effort to create and present new material, or old material in a new way, because now I know the dedication an even half-decent job requires. Now I’m providing actual IDtag information, which was missing originally. It also features the standalone “Volume +”, on top of revised file names and source upgrades of previously shared recordings. And since dealing with over 4 GB of data may be inconvenient, the Anthology is split in 6 separate volumes and invividual files. There's also a 192 kbit VBR MP3 version for those who don’t care about lossless formats. Some stats! (OUTDATED!) Total track number: 239 Undocumented recordings: 40+ (~25 fully undocumented recordings as of August 2019) Total running time: 14:07:31 Total size (FLAC & MP3): 4,63 GB Total size (MP3 version): 1,12 GB Discarded tracks: 200+ Discarded material size: ~ 4 GB Recordings explored: ~ 8000 Work files: 1000+ Time spent creating: Too much! I really hope you’ll enjoy these tracks as much as I did gathering them all. Cheers! TRACKLISTS ARE OUTDATED!!!!! You did a fine job mate and i wanna thank you for your hard efforts to share this with us. Since i made a sort of anthology set myself a few years ago i know it can be fun to explore and to compile over 50 years of Queen and pre-Queen material. It was a worthwile experience and i'm always interested in what other fans can come up with when it comes to compiling anthology sets. Since the band will never gonna give us one we rather do it ourselves then right? |

Thanks a lot mate. Just one question, do you remaster the demos from the convention? Like "affairs"? |

Freddie rey wrote: Thanks a lot mate. Just one question, do you remaster the demos from the convention? Like "affairs"?Just look at whether they have a " ^ " next to their title. For instance, Affairs and Grand Dame are original FLAC files. All those tracks that have been shared as MP3, those sourced from lossy formats and those that have been restored in any way are marked with " ^ ". |

Amazing compilation. Loving the back mixes of Breakthru and Scandal as I haven't heard those before. Breakthru's power chords really shine and I noticed for the first time that on the first "Breakthru!" of the final chorus, the voices are actually Brian in the left channel and Roger in the right. Scandal's mix is very interesting as it exposes a lot of the details of the keyboards (such as the quiet ticking that runs throughout the track), and I never realised that those processed guitar sounds actually pitch-bended up! |

just an idea, what about doing a compilation of some of the tracks from the convention? like affairs? becouse those two tracks from the convention really sounds very well. It will be nice to hear more tracks from the conventions in that quality |

It will be nice to hear more tracks from the conventions in that qualityDon't quote me on this, but I think I shared all 5 tracks (Barcelona, Innuendo, DTSH, Affairs and GD) from the same convention. This might be wrong though. I chose not to share other convention recordings, particularly those with the "Property of Queen Productions" thing, if you know what I mean. There are plenty of them and can easily be found around the Internet, except for a few which remain uncirculated. TheAdmiester wrote: Totally missed that one, will check it out. I gave it a quick go yesterday but didn't notice any difference.I included these notes in the PDF document regarding Volume 4: General notes: - Most of these mixes are unbalanced. That means you should be able to hear details that you couldn’t before on the regular album versions. I don’t want to spoil much, so check your favorite songs! - “Simple mix” is an unbalanced mix that only differs in terms of volume of its different tracks. Refer to the previous note. - “Raw mix” means some new, unheard bits are available in a given version. - “Rear mix” versions are tracks sourced from 5.1 mixes, and they are very unbalanced! But the point is that you’ll get to hear some details very clearly.Freddie's voice can be heard more clearly in TYMD (particularly around the middle and at the very end) and OV (last minute), as in it is less buried than in the regular album versions in some parts. Bass is more prominent too. |

Impressive work but unfocused, you should have stick to original material, studio and live. Too many variations of the multitracks and official surround sources. Or not enough of them. I mean beside "balanced raw mix", "raw mix with extra bits", "raw mix instrumental", "rear channel mix", there is also the equally unusual vocal channel. |
dastard 08.06.2018 10:30 |
Where do these surround versions come from, there is so much we can do with those songs? |

I tried to make something different and hopefully fresh, or at least compile something out of very sparse material (it's easy enough to make them, but I haven't seen them properly packaged, so to speak). Also, there's only so much you can do with the multitracks. I mean, you can literally create a thousand different versions with the available ones, but is there a point to remove other elements? Would you enjoy "Bicycle Race" without bells? "Radio Ga Ga" without the sequencer parts? I tried those and more, and they didn't feel quite right to listen to. I'm sure there are other interesting combinations (C_Matt and others have done more interesting mixes, but it is their work and I shouldn't just repackage it all). Not to mention remixes with new sounds and whatnot. Be warned though, it takes very long to make something like this when you're not simply doing a file dump. Again, you can give it a shot and share it for everyone here :-) madmega wrote: Where do these surround versions come from, there is so much we can do with those songs?A simple google search for "queen multitracks" goes a long way, if you are interested. There are other less accessible sources around too, but it's a good starting point. |

You have devoted a long time working in all directions instead of focusing on simple ideas with a greater success. For example, the rear mixes sourced from 5.1 - four of them in your collection. If they are better than original then why not give the same treatment to more of them (i guess there are hundreds of surround mixes including live). Why 4 and why those 4? To me it has no meaning. If you didn't have time for more because maybe you had to dig for the unusual guests, then it's not good to do everything in the same time, only to reach 12hr and 4GB. |

As a matter of fact, my intention from the beginning with the "Unusual Collection" (now "Unusual Anthology") is for it to become a collaborative project, so I appreciate the suggestions! I have a few ideas to add a handful of tracks to the collection sometime in the future and I haven't thoroughly checked that WWRY version, so I might consider it. Cheers! EDIT: just listened to it, it's quite similar to the John Farnham / 5ive versions (already included) rather than being something as unique as the very distinct Songwriters HOF version. |

Bump! Since we're just mere days away from this year's big event (the film!), I thought I'd update this share as well as the "Innuendo Collection" to celebrate! For the new fans :-) ADDITIONS Every volume has been updated with a brand new track! These are labeled as EXTRA: - Performances: Rock It (Prime Jive) - Freddie on lead vocals - the only live track that doesn't originally feature Freddie in the studio version yet to be released officially. Modern Times Rock'n'Roll, '39 and Sleeping On The Sidewalk with Freddie on vocals have been on albums, unlike this one. - Versions: Otro Lugar (Another World - Spanish version) - the only song fully sang by a Queen member in a language other than English - together with Freddie's "Ensueño". - Shares: Let's Make Love (1986 demo snippet) - the only unknown recording to surface in the last few years. - Mixes: Last Horizon (backing track) - an "official" mix that totally fits here. - Bonuses: One Vision (longer outtake from GVH2) - this is a more complete "Fun Vision" recording than the popular one from Magic Years, with no voice overs. - Volume +: Brian May + My Chemical Romance - We Will Rock You (live) - another professionally recorded collaboration that I missed originally. Also, I created and included a "VOLUME + HIGHLIGHTS" file that showcases some of the totally worthy, very cool Queen-like moments that Brian and Roger have in this compilation, just in case someone hasn't checked these tracks out. You can find it here as well, attached below. CHANGES - Revised document (new track info, improved format for better readability, updated stats and some text) - Some filenames have been revised to make them more consistent - Minor IDtag corrections - Updated MP3 version I think this will be the last update to this share, but never say never. Who knows what will be next in the Queen collecting scene. Cheers! VOLUME + HIGHLIGHTS ATTACHED HERE |

Thanks for a really fine collection! But can I just point out that the PDF notes for volume 4 has many tracks missing (eg. 2-10 and many of the 20s). Any chance of a corrected version? It's too good to be anything less than perfect :) :) |

It's nothing special, but I thought I'd write down a few things and crack some bad jokes (I did it all for fun, really) about what's included in the share. Thank you for the appreciation in any case :-) As stated in the doc, the reason why some tracks in volume 4 aren't described or commented is the fact that they're self-explanatory, in terms of what they are. I mean, there's not much more I could tell you about "Tenement Funster (instrumental)" other than it doesn't feature any vocals. It's not like I am an expert who can talk about the art behind the song, so I can't add any meaningful written content about it. |

la_ultra_zona wrote: Sorry. You already noted that. I just read. There are also 2 mixes of WATC (Ft. Robbie Williams), one of them minus orchestra.Yeah, there are plenty of versions left out. Speaking only of Volume +, you have several other Ian & Belinda WWTLF versions, there's another Brian May + J.Rush version without Brian's vocals, three versions of WATC with Robbie Williams, an instrumental of Annie Crummer's AOBTD, more NOBY versions with Kerry Ellis and without orchestral intro... And some other things I may not talk about, including lesser collaborations. Perhaps there was no point in including the edited WWRY version of the 2012 Olympics, but I won't change that now. However, I missed the three Rock Gala tracks, and I think I will do something with that before the end of the year. UPDATE: Just before the new year, I've added the Rock Gala Queen+ tracks :-) |

Oh my, I need to get a hard drive so I can download more of this stuff. I just don't have enough room on my rubbish laptop, but THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of this glory Golden Salmon. My first download was the instrumental You Take my Breath Away. I spent the best part of a day transcribing the piano part for this a few months ago (I know there are versions online, but they're interpretations and I wanted to do my own from Freddie's playing) and gosh - now I see I could have listened to this and done it so much more easily than having to try to hear beneath the vocals. But now I can check over what I wrote before and get it properly right when next I have time. I know that's not entirely what these glorious sharings are for, but you know... whatever we take from them, right? I am so looking forward to delving properly into all of this - thank you! |

Great, i'm very appriciated for you making, sharing (and replenishing!) of this beautiful collection. But i need to clarify some things: 1) Are you making updates in FLAC and MP3 versions of The Unusual Anthology simultaneously? i.e. add new song to FLAC archive and to MP3 at the same time. 2) Why don't you add "State of Shock" w. Fred vocals and "Victory" ? These are good songs, "State ..." with Jagger, Mercury and Jackson vocals are available on YouTube in different mixes and variations...at least were on 2017-18 |

Seed_Of_Rhy wrote: 1) Are you making updates in FLAC and MP3 versions of The Unusual Anthology simultaneously? i.e. add new song to FLAC archive and to MP3 at the same time.Yes, both the FLAC + MP3 individual tracks collection and the zipped MP3 only version feature the same content and additional files, and are updated simultaneously indeed. 2) Why don't you add "State of Shock" w. Fred vocals and "Victory" ? These are good songs, "State ..." with Jagger, Mercury and Jackson vocals are available on YouTube in different mixes and variations...at least were on 2017-18I mentioned this months ago when I did the first version of this collection. Those tracks (along with Silver Salmon, Polar Bear, The Miracle and Innuendo demos, etc.) could definitely belong to Volume 3, but the MJ tracks for instance were first shared 15+ years ago and were in the hands of traders circa 2001. Consequently, they've been heavily bootlegged and re-shared since then. YMMV but most/all of the tracks in Volume 3 (collector and fan shares) only showed up within the last decade or so. Thus, they're a lot less common and I haven't seen them compiled the way they are here. Unless you've kept up with the scene all these years, there's a chance you might have missed some of them. If I included the last 20 years worth of rarities, it would become twice as big and it is not my intention to make it exhaustive, but rather to compile the least shared recordings. I made this collection with every Queen fan in mind. New fans can find both rare tracks and hard to obtain versions and whatnot, while veteran collectors can at least have a convenient compilation of undocumented versions, shares, mixes, etc. I haven't seen any similar thematic compilation out there, so hopefully that's my contribution to the scene. But there's so much more out there. For newer / casual fans who just became interested in listening to more Queen & solo songs and versions than those available in the regular albums, this collection is just the tip of the iceberg. There's at least 5 times more material out there if you really want to find it, with plenty of goodness to enjoy. CMI's expanded collection is a good starting point! |

I'm overwhelmed by your fandom camaraderie in the vein of Masonic fellowship, it must be a great honor for Golden Salmon to be defended by the Grand Master himself. Your queenzone credit is almost gone Thistle, save it for emergency situations. You exhaust it while biting and licking various asses, like Gerry's or Wizard's. Thistle 19.02.2019 11:54 |
Again, you're being selective and you've gone out of your way to count the exact number of posts I had in an argument with someone. That's not just sad, it's pathetic. The argument you speak of is with one of literally a handful of people I've found difficult on this site over a decade. I'm not the only one to find the same user difficult, and I'm not the only one who's argued with him. Compared to the bulk of my activity here, it's not really worth debating - especially with someone who makes snide comments and arguments habitual. I could go back and check the number of posts YOU'VE made that are a waste of time and characterise you with their unmistakable style, but then again I don't really have to - the number is conveniently already listed next to your name. 425 and counting, unfortunately. You don't need to find my age to make yourself look stupid. Your post count is enough. |

The show must go on: it's the Year One update! Full re-download recommended! The share that keeps on evolving... until today. Never say never, but this is most certainly the last time I'm revisiting the 'Unusual Anthology' (I'm all out of ideas!). Over the last year I've had a number of tracks in mind for additions and improvements, and also some old and new things surfaced over this period that I thought would make neat content for it, so here we are. This is what changed: ----------------------------- - 21 new tracks and many upgrades (thank you, waywardgenius, for most of the latter) of previously available files. Additions and major changes breakdown per volume: PERFORMANCES - HANGMAN (UNRELEASED SONG WITH BACKSTORY, 1976-04-01 TOKYO) The only Queen song (played live) to remain officially unreleased in any shape or form. This very nice rendition is perhaps the best quality recording out there. This new, recently surfaced source features a nice bit of backstory where Freddie mentions that this song is about “two very nasty men, two murderers”, adding to the lore surrounding this ever mysterious song. The previous 1975 recording I included in past “Unusual Collection / Anthology” versions is also available as an extra. - DEATH ON TWO LEGS (UNCENSORED AND UNCUT,1979-02-20 BARCELONA) Ever wondered about the censored bit in “Live Killers”? Wonder no more! True to Freddie’s natural manners, he mentions this is a song “about a dirty, nasty man – we call him motherfucker!”. But there’s way more to this one than meets the eye (ear?). Here’s a great analysis for additional information: http://queenlive.ca/lkanalysis.htm#dotl VERSIONS - STONE COLD CRAZY (RAW MULTITRACK MIX WITH EXTRA BITS) - WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS (RAW MULTITRACK MIX WITH EXTRA BITS) Two recently surfaced multitrack recordings allowed to extract these raw mixes which feature, once again, unheard snippets and different takes in unused tracks, on top of studio banter. Even these simple, mostly unaltered mixes will provide you with new, fresh versions of these classic Queen songs. Enjoy new Freddie ad-libs and Brian guitars! SHARES - ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST (RAW MULTITRACK MIX WITH EXTRA BITS) - DRAGON ATTACK (RAW MULTITRACK MIX WITH EXTRA BITS) I’m considering these ones “shares” rather than “versions” since the original multitracks aren’t publicly available and mixes cannot be freely extracted. Also, they may have been somewhat altered from the actual, raw mixes but this is unknown at this point. In any case, the multitracks prove that they’re treasure troves once again, featuring more unused parts such as extra percussion, unheard instrumental bits, additional ad-libs, etc. - SPREAD YOUR WINGS (TEST PRESSING VERSION) I missed this share back in 2017 when it surfaced on Youtube. It features some differences in mixing, particularly guitars on the second half, and most notably two extra Freddie ad-libs. - UNDER PRESSURE (3 OUTTAKE EXCERPTS) Three outtakes from the original multitrack featuring unused Freddie Mercury, Brian May and David Bowie lead vocals. The “Rah Mix” version got its intro sample from this source. - Tracks 14 to 18 Listing order modified to better reflect the original chronology. MIXES - PLAY THE GAME (PIANO INTRO, NO SYNTHS, NO FADE OUT) (48 kHz) I mixed in the extra piano at the beginning, which makes for a very feel-good addition that will remind you of the live renditions. Other than that, enjoy a different, rawer version without synthesizers and unusual ending. - ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST (2003 BACKING TRACK MIX - BY GOLDEN SALMON) My very own mix! I almost gave up on this one since it was a bit tedious to get the pace right, but it turned out pretty listenable. Only Queen and some new sounds are involved! - DRAGON ATTACK (STRIPPED MIX - BY TCTHEGREAT) This unique mix deserves a place in this compilation given that it’s the only different version we’re getting for the time being. Enjoy this simplistic version! - STONE COLD CRAZY (RAW TRICKY 1ST TAKE MIX - BY BETA215) A very cool effort at recreating an early SCC live take with thoughtfully edited studio banter. - UNDER PRESSURE (RESTORED OUTTAKE MIX - BY A WORD IN YOUR EAR) Sometimes fan mixes make a lot of sense. This lovely version is one of them, very nicely done at that too. Take a listen and be surprised! BONUSES - FREDDIE MERCURY - LOVE KILLS (METROPOLIS MIX, HIGH QUALITY) Featuring early backing track and vocals, this is the best quality recording of this rare version you can possibly find. Thanks to The Kurgan and Chinwonder2 for the sources and mixing! GUESTS - 2003-11-29 CAPE TOWN 46664 (48kHz) 01 BRIAN MAY + ANDREA CORR - IS THIS THE WORLD WE CREATED...? 02 QUEEN + BONO, ANASTACIA, BEYONCÉ & DAVID A. STEWART – AMANDLA 03 QUEEN + SOWETO GOSPEL CHOIR, ZUCCHERO & THANDISWA MAZWAI - BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY, I WANT IT ALL & I WANT TO BREAK FREE (MEDLEY) 04 QUEEN - RADIO GA GA 05 QUEEN + ANASTACIA - WE WILL ROCK YOU & WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS The final addition to this Anthology in the foreseeable future. The full Queen+ song set (complemented by the tracks in Volume 1) straight from the hard-to-find DVD source, including the only ever “Amandla” live performance. Check out the blunder in IWTBF! OTHER - Many file names, folder names and ID3tags updated and corrected. - Some additional files and folders arranged in a more intuitive fashion. - Many small additions and QOL changes in the PDF document to reflect the updated content and improve readability, as well as a few corrections. - MP3 version updated accordingly. It is also of note that a few more shares have surfaced over the last few months (such as Stone Cold Crazy - rough mix, Sleeping On The Sidewalk - first take with studio banter, both and more shared by CMI in his latest Expanded Collections), and there's at least one more "Brian +" track (Bohemian Rhapsody with Rick Wakeman), all of which is too recent for me to want to add here, so I urge you to go to the source to get them if you're so inclined. I meant to do this earlier but life has been crazy in the last few months, you just wouldn't believe how much: new job with lots of new faces, divorce (mostly happy), new home, new love interests, trips, lost 20 kg and then gained 7 so far... but again, the show must go on! Here's hoping you enjoy this update. Downloading the whole Unusual Anthology again to avoid mixing up revisions is recommended. Thank you for the fun! See you on the board! |

Updated 2020-06-02 - ALL TRACKLISTS IN THIS SITE ARE OUTDATED Announcement: This share is no longer here. Please go to https://queenchat.boards.net/thread/742/queen-unusual-anthology for the final update. The time has come: this is my final form! No more updates! This is the last, definitive version. Now you'll say "Yeah, right...", but I swear, I'm finally done with it, LOL. This is what changed since the previous version last year: - All volumes updated with a total of 15 new tracks + 10 extra tracks (related content). Additions and major changes breakdown per volume: PERFORMANCES 20 NO-ONE BUT YOU (ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG) (ONLY PRO RECORDING, 2002-04-30 AMSTERDAM) Queen (definition of what “Queen” is may vary) have only played this song a handful of times, but this is possibly the first and only professionally recorded version. Roger makes a mistake! EXTRA: 02 QUEEN - ROCK IT (PRIME JIVE) (FREDDIE MERCURY LEAD VOCALS, 1981-02-28 BUENOS AIRES) Another version in enjoyable quality, originally discarded. EXTRA: 03 BRIAN MAY & ROGER TAYLOR - WE WILL ROCK YOU (DUET, 2001-03-19 ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME) A cool and unusual duet, featuring Roger in the last verse. Too many WWRY versions in the collection already, but as an extra it's OK. VERSIONS 15 FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS (ALTERNATE VOCALS, RAW MULTITRACK MIX WITH EXTRA BITS) So nice! We get an alternate unused take from Freddie, although with less ad-libbing. 18 UNDER PRESSURE (ALTERNATE VOCALS, RAW MULTITRACK MIX WITH EXTRA BITS) Yet another wonder brought by a newly leaked multitrack. A completely unused vocal take (with a familiar excerpt from the “Rah Mix” version, discarded vocals by Brian and lots more) and many, many smaller details, such as the buried sax by Bowie. 32 YOU ARE THE CHAMPIONS (LOCKDOWN JAM, 2020-04-16) Ah, the COVID-19 global pandemic: such fond memories of the mandatory lockdown, lost jobs, economy down the drain… At least it brought us this new, shorter instrumental rendition of WATC, later completed and released as a charity single. SHARES 09 SPREAD YOUR WINGS (ROUGH MIX EXCERPT, BASING STREET STUDIOS) A small exclusive for this collection. A very short glimpse into the additional guitars that never made it to the final mix. MIXES 01 BRIGHTON ROCK (CLEAN INTRO, DOUBLE-TRACKED VOCALS, ALTERNATE SOLO - BY CMI) Amazing fresh version by our beloved CMI :) 15 SWEET LADY (ELLIOT SCHEINER WITHDRAWN 2001 5.1 ALTERNATE MIX, NO LEAD VOCAL - BY VICTOR KRUGER) 16 LOVE OF MY LIFE (STANDALONE, NO HARMONIES) 38 UNDER PRESSURE (BASIC BACKING TRACK) From the recently surfaced multitrack, this one reminisces of the well-known demo “Feel Like”, which shows how it was an early version of Under Pressure. 41 IT'S A HARD LIFE (HYBRID MIX - BY GOLDEN SALMON) A fresh take on the album version. It features a clean intro with audible guitar to the actual song (without the “Vesti La Giubba” inspired prelude), and the last verse features the one different Freddie line from the 12” mix that isn’t present in the album. Also, the isolated harmonies from that same mix support the final “Looove!” part at the very end. EXTRA: 01 Play The Game (no synths, no fade out) Just the regular, previous mix version without the newly added piano intro. BONUSES 05 MY MELANCHOLY BLUES (OUTTAKE FROM "ROCK THE WORLD") Freddie’s blooper leads to an instrumental bit. Bless the mess! 06 GOOD OLD-FASHIONED LOVER BOY (1977 REHEARSAL AT SHEPPERTON STUDIOS FROM "STORMTROOPERS IN STILETTOS") Of course Queen were always cautious about sex and drugs, as evidenced by Roger here. 20 FREDDIE MERCURY - MADE IN HEAVEN (ISOLATED HARMONIES FROM "NEVER BORING") More like “Always Boring”, except for this little morsel and a couple other features. 42 BRIAN MAY & KERRY ELLIS - SAVE ME (2010 "SAVE ME" CAMPAIGN THEME, SEMI INSTRUMENTAL) A bizarre sort of duet featuring Brian on guitar on the first verse, and Kerry on the second. EXTRA: 01 BRIAN MAY - GOD SAVE THE QUEEN (PIANO DEMO WITH BRIAN'S COMMENTS FROM "THE MAKING OF A NIGHT AT THE OPERA") Well, he isn’t a piano player, all right… “A” for effort though! EXTRA: 02 QUEEN - 46664 - THE CALL (MIX 1) Absolutely unmissable, different and pristine quality version! /s EXTRA: 03 ROGER TAYLOR - "IT'S YOUR LETTERS" (NO MORE FUN, 1998 TFI FRIDAY) Roger’s most unknown and underrated song version! GUESTS 38 ROGER TAYLOR + FOO FIGHTERS - UNDER PRESSURE (2019-02-02 ATLANTA) Here they are again! Super Queen fans for sure. Roger is quite the spotlight as he ad-libs one of Freddie’s parts and generally contributes to backing vocals, and at some points this is a vocal trio too! EXTRA: 01 BRIAN MAY + JENNIFER RUSH - WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER (SOLO VERSION) Jennifer sings Brian’s verse. EXTRA: 02 QUEEN + JESSIE J - DAY-O - BRIGHTON ROCK - WE WILL ROCK YOU (UNCUT PERFORMANCE - 2012-08-12 LONDON, OLYMPICS CLOSING CEREMONY) The full, unpolished live version! EXTRA: 03 QUEEN + ROBBIE WILLIAMS - WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS (ROCK RADIO MIX) The orchestra backing track is removed. This rawer version is pretty cool too! OTHER - Cover artwork! It's also the cover for every audio file. - Completely redone tracklists. The updates over time made them messy, which is fixed now. Also, two tracks traded their places in vols. 2 and 3. - Several file names, folder names and ID3tags updated and corrected. - Additions and QOL changes in the PDF document to reflect the updated content and improve readability, as well as a few corrections. - MP3 version updated accordingly. It is also of note that a few more things have surfaced over the last year (such as Sleeping On The Sidewalk - first take with studio banter shared by CMI in his NOTW Expanded Collections), and there's at least one more "Brian May +" track (Bohemian Rhapsody with Rick Wakeman), all of which is too recent for me to want to add here, so I urge you to go to the source to get them if you're so inclined. Here's hoping you enjoy this final update. Downloading the whole Unusual Anthology again to avoid mixing up revisions is recommended. Feel safe to delete previous versions, as there are only additions and upgrades in the final version. Thank you beautiful people! |
