Hi everyone, this is a little project that I did a couple of days ago. In 2015, Roger produces a movie called Solitary, were his wife acting. Roger also composed the soundtrack for it. But the soundtrack was never released and also the movie never released on any physical format.
So, I saw the movie, and I can take the few pieces of music that is on the movie, and put into mp3 format.
Is not the best thing, but in this way, you could hear the music that is in the film.
On the movie, you can hear some segments of instrumental music, very close to the 'Journey's End' song, and also a couple of 'Fun On Earth' tracks. I didn't put on the file two songs that appear on the movie from this album, becouse is hear on the movie but in the backgroud of a bar where the main characters are, so it didn't sounds well. That two tracks are 'One Night Stand' and 'I'm the drummer of a rock n roll band' in instrumental format.
Also, at the beggining of the movie, you can hear a song, called 'Moon Runners' that is sing by Lola and Felix Taylor. I don't know if Roger was involved, but I just put on the file.
So, I hope you enjoy it. And if you like it, I could do the same for the Brian May soundtrack of the movie '51 Degrees North'. link
This is great! Thanks a lot!
I heard all of it. Moon Runners is nice. I bet Roger is involved. As for Quality Street, it seems to be a cut version of the original.
Cheers,
Ogre-
This is cool! I had completely forgotten about this. Thank you! And definitely share the instrumental versions, which aren't available elsewhere (is Quality Street on credits an instrumental version?).
Does this movie feature 5.1 sound? It may be possible to isolate the music from dialogues and whatnot (you can actually create an a cappella version of Roger's "Absolutely Anything"). Also, what about a lossless 48 kHz upload? Not that I'm complaining, but perhaps you'll save me the time to do it myself at some point.
And yes, please go ahead with "51 Degrees North" :-)
the problem is that I can only locate the movie on a standard quality. It's not released on any physical format or high quality.
The Quality Street song you can hear on the last track of the file that I shared, is the regular version, but I don't know if it's a different mix.
About the instrumental versions, it only sounds a bit on a scene that the main characters are on a bar, and it sounds on the bar (like a karaoke thing), so the quality it wasn't good enough
