Always thought Queen put on a better show when they were away from the uk. Has anyone else thought this too? |

They were particularly great in Antarctica, Burma, Cameroon, or the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Also, Queen's shows with Adam Lambert in the UK were better than they ever were with the original lineup. |

Real Wizard: Queen shows were never better than when Freddie was around with the band, lets face it Freddie is the master of Queen and there is nobody like Freddie for commanding an audience. He aint called the ultimate rock legend for nothing. Lambert has a hell of a lot to learn yet and he is nowhere near Freddie's brilliance when it comes to vocal ability and presence on a stage. Lambert will never be regarded as a rock legend so for you to say Lambert's performances were better than the original Queen line up are simply insulting. You need to get some ears boy. |

If you've heard Mr Wizard play you'd know there is nothing wrong with his ears. Being less trigger happy and more open to humour will get you more favourable reactions. Seeing the serious point that humour is directing you too and understanding and acting on it would place you in a better place than you are in this forum. |

VH : I do not want to hear "wizard" play and that has nothing to do with the crap silly comment he posted on here, honestly i do really wonder if yous lot on here are really Queen fans for the amount of shit that you all post! |
Vocal harmony 26.05.2018 12:48 |
I'm sure you don't but it would prove to you he doesn't need "some ears boy" People posting shit on here? I'll leave that to you. . . . Boy! |
Star* 26.05.2018 16:45 |
VH At least i am a true Queen fan and do not mock Freddie like you and a few more on here have done. Have some respect for the man, he is a true rock n roll god. You have never heard me mock Queen as a band with Freddie have you, because i genuinely love them, sure Brian & Roger have cocked things up now and i admit i have commented on that and some unsavoury solo pieces of work they have done with other artists like druggie Dappy, that must have Brian regretting doing that one but grief and bereavement can last many years and folk make silly mistakes ! |

The Real Wizard : I find it quite sad when fellow Queen fans feel the need to wind others up on here, we are supposed to be supporting the same group, this should not be a site to mock the band or play childish jokes on here, how old are yous lot then, 5 years old? |
dysan 27.05.2018 09:02 |
Queen is built on humour and self mockery. There's not reason the fans can't be playful. |
Star* 27.05.2018 14:16 |
Dysan : No way Queen is built up on massive production, regal vision and over the top harmonies, blistering guitar work and Freddie Mercury showing the world why no one could ever do what he did! Self mockery and humour is Adam Lambert's whole career ! |

The team you support is better than my team. That's fine, but this is music it's art it's not competition it's about how music makes you feel it's about the enjoyment of seeing and hearing people play live, not about proving someone is better than the other guy, As far as yous saying that we can't have fun, or yous saying that Queen were not about humour yous don't seem to know as much as yous think yous know! Yous need to read some of the old interviews to see that yous are wrong, humour was part of Queen |

happystar wrote: we are supposed to be supporting the same groupThat's rich coming from you, considering how much time you spend implying the band in their current incarnation are somehow tarnishing their legacy. Maybe if you stopped hijacking threads with your hatred for someone you've never met, maybe people won't have to point it out. Live and let live. People die, and bands change. They're on the road as a nostalgia act that is still selling out arenas. Grow up and deal with it. |

I am grown up Mr wizard and VH, but you see it is ridiculous to see a band like Queen humiliate itself with a nobody as its new lead singer, who is third rate singer by the way. You honestly cannot like this drivel what he presents night after night he has no stage presence whatsoever and is pretending that he is a rock star when we all know he is just a gay guy who likes his make up box and sings other people tunes for a living and slapping on the eye liner getting rich out of idiots who think he is great. What has he ever done that is inspiring and artistic then? Freddie on the other hand was intelligent very artistic, has inspired many artists around the globe and is THE greatest male vocalist ever. Both these people are at opposite ends of the scale here with Freddie at the top of his profession & Lambert getting hyped by May & Taylor making all the fools think he is great, but you see without Queen boosting Lamebirds career he would be back at home looking through his mirror! I have followed Queen since the year dot and do not need anyone on here preaching to me that Adam Lambert is acceptable or worthy to sing Mercury's vocals because he does not come close. |

happystar wrote: it is ridiculous to see a band like Queen humiliate itself with a nobody as its new lead singer, who is third rate singer by the way.The arenas are full every night, and they all seem to disagree with you. You haven't been to a show, yet you claim to know something they all don't. You really need to learn the difference between facts and your personal opinion. without Queen boosting Lamebirds career he would be back at home looking through his mirror!Wrong again. His solo career is actually going quite well. Sales and chart information are easily accessible, if you care to sift through your ignorance. |

Wizard : Lambert has made no impact on the British charts at all, he has had no no1 singles or albums, no one cares about the looser and i have asked many people out and about in pubs and nightclubs what do they think of Adam Lambert, to which the reply is mainly garbage over rated hype. There stick that info up your butt. |

There stick that info up your butt. His US sales are quite stable and deemed a success. Interesting you bring up UK number 1's. How many did Queen have through their career in the UK, not counting Under Pressure since that was Bowie as much as Queen. If your going to quote number 1 singles as a measure of success there are many who were more successful than Queen. Maybe you should consider sticking that up your butt |

And do you seriously think a handful of people in your local pub matter in the scheme of things. |
