I can't believe I'm the first to mention this here...
"Hitlatens Historia" is a series on SVT in Sweden, where each episode is a half hour on a particular song. A couple weeks back they did an episode on We Will Rock You.
There's some new footage of Brian speaking about times past, but most importantly there is new footage of the band in the vocal booth in 1974 at Trident recording Killer Queen. link
@ 4:00. Monumental.
I saw it this afternoon and i was pleasantly shocked to see this. Only a couple of seconds but now this has got to be earliest footage of the band in the studio. Pure gold this and i wonder who provided this footage.
Wow thanks for heads up - and thankfully, aside from the host speaking in Swedish, they didn't overdub the original interviews! Still, always such a tease! There's got to be more of that footage. I can't imagine they went into the studio to film, and only let the camera roll for 3 seconds!!
There is obviously a lot of footage that we've never seen. There's all the Bob Harris footage as well as (I suspect) a lot more studio footage, particularly from the One Vision recording. Sadly, I don't think we'll ever see 99% of it. They seem to prefer releasing short snippets.
I did post this great find on my Facebook page and have concluded the following. In September, Mick Rock photographs the band at Trident Studios singing backing vocals and overseeing the production in the control room with Roy Thomas Baker and Mike Stone. On the same day, a Swedish TV crew, who are in England to make a documentary on the London music industry, also film at this session. As the album is now finished, it is suspected that the band are miming to a playback of ‘Killer Queen’ just for the cameras.

Holy shit Batman!
With that level of journalistic investigation, ole' Greggy Boy will be back on the blower for your input to the next scheduled upgrade of The Concert File.
Look out folks, stay tuned: the bombshell that is the answer to the mystifying questions as to who EXACTLY was Freddie's favourite singer and whether or not John liked Hot Space is about to be dropped.
wow, this is promising. If they filmed in the studio as far back as Sheer Heart Attack, ATATO or ADATR can't be too far behind. That is if it could have survived this long.

>Did someone punch Paul Gambaccini in the teeth ?
If only. More likely the result of a poorly aimed bell-end after a couple of lines of Charly.
