Cant belive ive recieved my tickets for the upcoming Queen+ gig in Berlin already. Im in the Uk. Thats a better service Uk ticketmaster. All round its better to see bands you like in another country. Even flights cost less that british rail.

And? Wha'ts next? We are all happy that you're going to attend to tribute band
I know you're trolling, but if you're going to troll, you could at least research what a tribute band is. It isn't a band that contains actual members of the band.
People die, and bands continue. Live with it.
i was within 15 or 20 feet from Brian and Roger on the b-set in Montreal last year. This is not a tribute band. They are very authentic. Seeing Brian's hands work the fretboard of (one of) his Red Special(s) or Roger hitting a snare drum within that proximity was the absolute pinnacle of my concertgoing experience!
That's why they go by the name of Queen plus Adam Lambert. Why do these posts always come down to pathetic arguments over Adam or Freddie.Of course Freddie was the best with his writing skills his brilliant stage performances.I have seen Queen seven times with Freddie, once with Paul and twice with Adam and I think he is an excellent singer, funny and good use of the stage.

I agree with your sentiment, but I think there may be and example of a tribute band that has contained ex-members of the band (and not just sitting in for two songs once).
But without me remembering the actual example, this is just argumentative nonsense, of course!
Queen + Adam Lambert would be Fred, John, Brian and Rog, + AL. They use the brand name Queen to sell tickets. It opens doors for them. It would be much more difficult to tour as Rog & Brian. Might also be a massive hit to their egos.
They can do what they like of course -- is what I will say before the usual drones pipe in with that dumber than dumb comment. We all know they can. Duh. But is there any artistic merit in it? I think not. Others do. Each have a right to express their opinions because "they can do what they like" too.
