Aaaahh!
From Discogs: "This is very early CD press. It has been withdrawn because of banned verson of 'Let Me Live'. The disc was made by Capitol (USA). Collectors report that Dutch CD with the same 'Let Me Live' version also exists. "219" near barcode is a mark which exists on this widthdrawn versions only."
I sold one of mine in Nov 2016 for 400 GBP. Kept one for myself - the one I was given as a present back in '97
Now, if I could recover the Innuendo Mexican CD with the vinyl edits I GAVE AWAY about 20 years ago... never saw one of those ever again :(.
Hello, could you tell me what catalog number is the Mexican version of innuendo that contains the edited version of the vinyl? I have one from 1991, and I do not know if it's that version,
and I also have one of MIH Mexican version, could you help me?
thanks in advance, greetings
The Innuendo one should be a silver CD and the catalog number starts with 219. It's also by EMI Capitol de Mexico.
I used to have it many years ago but have it away to a friend or sold it cheap. The MX cassette also has the vinyl edits and has a similar catalog number.
I have the MIH one and I know the 219 in the catalog number appears on both the withdrawn and the regular issue. The main tell is that the print quality on the CD surface is a bit different and the letters around the CD edge. It has only a couple of words whereas the normal edition has a lot of writing, including lengthy copyright verbiage.
