Hello everyone, while i was looking on canal 13 broadcast of first night in rio concert, i noticed some different angles so i made comparison for radio ga ga from official live in rio and from canal 13 broadcast. Things that show up suprise me. i know that live in rio are merge from both nights but i allways thought that songs are only from one night. its looks like there fake angles or are songs two nights merge two? few times freddie moves didnt match at all. im kinda confused now, if songs itself are two nights merge are audio edited too?
From what I can tell, the audio remains entirely from the 1st night and some of the different angles, such as 1:12, 1:46, 2:36, 3:20, 4:02, 4:25, 4:51 and 4:53. These all belong to the second night and this happens quite a bit on the official footage such as Boh Rhap, Now I'm Here and TYMD.
3:41 on the official footage is just some random footage of the crowd from another song and the Canel 13 footage is of the fireworks either after WATC or at the end of the night.

interesting, does that means queen didnt have acces to all tapes and they need to fill the cuts somehow? didnt know other reason why they didnt use real angles all the time

Of course they had access to everything, as it's theirs. They just chose shots from whichever night they wanted at whichever moment. They just used the audio from the first night predominantly, because it was the better of the two performances. Mercury blew his voice out on the second night.
I think as Wizard said, they just used different shots from the second night as some of the angles and shots on the first night aren’t great. Also, I don’t think they have each individual camera feed and just the ‘live mix’ which was broadcast live on Globo TV, so there’s no chance of different angles for each night.
