It got to the point that it was POINTLESS to watch them live. (*with Ozzy)...no matter whether it was their "last" LAST TOUR or not. DESPITE the fact that the band basically wrote the book on everything and i should've been "grateful" to see them live any time. ...i ALREADY HAD and nothing ever changed. I must have passed them by an additional 5-7 times. pity. It's only when RONNIE JAMES DIO came back that the live show had ANY changes in it. Thank God for him I heard their final tour did however include a set list change to incorporate new material. It was way too late for me. Saw HEAVEN & HELL (Sabbath with Dio thanks to pending Osborne lawsuit) multiple times with great joy and amazement. They got the initial idea right but. ..eh. i can see how people are very disappointed the NOTW stuff didn't stay |

I have a feeling that Brian and Roger think that WWRY/WATC are their most prominent and well known tracks from that album and the rest don’t matter as much! |

Nope, my finger is the mouse! |

I don't get why Ozzy Osborne and Alice Cooper have been mentioned here, but I will respond anyways. For those two artists it was about their music more than how they looked, IMO. I'm a big fan of Ozzy's, I don't think he or his fans was concerned about how he looked. |

SweetCaroline wrote: Nope, my finger is the mouse! That's odd. It's one of the most basic operations anyone could do on any text enabled device, even touch ones, like a phone, computer, tablet, etc, a simple selecting of a portion of a text, copying it and pasting on whatever you like. I remember some years ago Apple was mocked for not having a simple copy/paste function, I now have searched and it's available since iOS 3.0. It's strange that you say you can't do that. |

She doesn't know much about other music and artists and only brings them up to dismiss them. I'm surprised she hasn't went into n her Sam Smith rages here. And you both are right. My first impression of Adam is that he resembled Elvis when he was performing “Satisfaction” on Idol. I didn’t see his audition of “Bohemian Rhapsody” which at the time Adam never dreamed he’d be singing that song on Queen tours. |

Let alone comparing him to a legend Iike Elvis. Was that because of the music or his looks that he resembled Elvis? I never had that impression at all. I watched his season, and actually enjoyed it. It was good to see him develop and grow into... himself to some degree. That's what I took from it. |
SweetCaroline 22.12.2017 09:41 |
I said Adam looked like Elvis from the profile view when I first saw him but he was singing “Satisfaction” which is a Rolling Stones song. He was obviously being himself because he was hitting notes that no one else was able to hit then or now! |

And he will never sound like him either. I am well aware who originally sang Satisfaction by the way. I am aware AL sang it on Idol. Don't know why you bothered to post the video of it? I will not watch it I have no need or desire to watch it. Maybe others will want to watch, but it's obvious you are trying to big him up again. I think we all know you live in an AL bubble. So how do you know other artists couldn't and still can't do what AL did? Oh right, maybe Brian May said so. Again and we have been discussing this countless times before, it's not all about hitting the notes. There is so much more than hitting the notes...or looks. Great songs, persona, connecting with the audience, that's more important...for me anyways. I'm sure you will come back with a post or more that you think AL has the looks, the moves, the charisma, the sex appeal...while everyone else doesn't have any of it. I don't need or want more videos so you can try to 'prove' that I'm wrong and you are right. You treat the people here as if they are dumb just because they don't agree with things the way you do. Did you really assume I didn't know about Satisfaction and the Rolling Stones sang it, and AL sang that song on AI? Sheesh. Any excuse for you to big him up and promote the guy, even with an old clip. |

SweetCaroline wrote: No creative talents? Ask Brian and Roger what THEY think about that!Yeah I could ask Brian but I don't want to waste his time. I think you're missing some vital infomation. There is no denying Adam Lambert can sing and he fronts th band well. He even adds something to one or two of the songs, Who Wants To Live Foreever for instance, but real musical creative talent? When his name appears in the writing credits of songs that have had the impact of the songs both Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath and any other creatively talented song writers and musicians have created then maybe I'll take more note of your claim. The music world is full of people who can sing, but people who can write songs and sustain a long career doing so are rarer and I'm afraid your great musical savour doesn't come close, just because he shares a stage with two of those people doesn't mean he is one. |

Years ago singers with exceptional voices like Adam were not required to write their own songs. Frank Sinatra and Perry Como come to mind. They didn’ play musical instruments either! Not every singer is also an entertainer. Adele and Sam come to mind. |

You judgements about other artists and their fans is disgusting. If anyone said what they didn't like about your almighty AL, you would be very defensive and insulted. You imagine if someone said AL looked like a freak, there wouldn't be the end of it. But it's okay for you to say Ozzy Osborne and Alice Cooper are freaks. While at the same time, AL is a 'hunk'. My God. You litreally can't help yourself to big up AL every time you see a chance. You are obsessed! AL makes it look easy? Not that he had to write and produce any Queen songs, he sure was not involved with any of that. Hell, it took five writers to write TwoFux. I'd say he has it easier than Adele and Sam Smith. Adele, Sam Smith and AL do things differently in their music, on albums onstage, even being in the public eye. |

Is Zayn the latest in your sights for some reason? I know you have made your feelings about Adele and Sam Smith many times before. You are upset at their success because AL didn't get the sales, recogniztion, noms, awards that they have. I guess Zayn is the latest for you to moan about. I'd ask if AL was ever shy, unsure and self conscious, but I don't need or want another AL history lesson from you. |

I was reading Twitter earlier today. There is an account called Frank Lambot. So the Glamberts have even taken Frank as their own. Wonder how many knew the history of it before AL sat on Frank's head? |

I have nothing against Zayn but it is a fact that he cancelled a whole solo tour due to stage fright which is confusing because he toured all over the world as a member of One Direction! Did Adele really cancel her last two nights of her tour at Wembley because of vocal cord issues again or stage fright? Haven’t heard about her needing more surgery. Again, it is one thing to make a hit record in a recording studio and another to perform it live all over the world w/o using lip syncing, |

Performing with others is a different thing altogether than performing solo. Don't you understand that much at least? She had vocal issues again, that's why her last two shows at Wembley were cancelled. Are you forgetting your spite towards her on QOL, cause you sure had things to say about her cancelling. Even though you aren't a fan, so why are you bothered about it? I'm sure people who had tickets were refunded. Adele has never lip synced that I'm aware of, are you implying she has? Zayn, I have no clue, I don't follow his career. Let's not forget how fucked up you were to bleating on about life not being fair to AL on QOL just before your ban and he took the financial opportunity to tour with the Queen guys. I hope you know by your saying that was very off putting, in bad taste and it made it look like it was all about the money, and I'm not the only one who felt that way after reading it.. The way you dig your heels in to defend AL and blast other artists is mind boggling. I hope you can shape up before the 31st because I know you will go back to QOL, but hopefully not back to the way you were..Please try to change the way you do certain things. I actually wish you well, and I genuinely mean that, despite how many times you and I have butted heads. |

I know that performing solo is different than performing in a group. Adam has performed all over the world both as a solo artist and as the front man for Queen. He performs with Queen because he loves their music and is so well suited for it. It’s not his fault that people don’t buy his recordings as much as they buy others. I don’t agree with the choice of singles that has been made for him and the lack of promotion by the music industry. My main point here and at other forums is that Adam is a stronger live performer than recording artist. That is proven over and over by the people who tweet following the QAL shows that they had no idea what a powerful voice Adam has. I’m not sure I will post again at the QOL forum where the admin is ready to jump on everything being posted. It’s pretty dead over there and only people with negative views about Adam are welcome. |

It's not his fault that people don't buy his music as much as other artists. Who is to blame may I ask? In he last decade or so, the music industry has changed so much. For example, I never thought streaming would be such a big thing. That affects the charts. I wish you honestly would keep giving excuses for him. What's done is done. He can't change things, you can't. Again, it's not all about having a powerful voice. Al's solo music has yet to connect with an audience the way some other artists have. Take the time to focus soley on his solo music, with no Q+AL, tv guest spots, because his music seems very disjointed at times. It seems rushed to get it released, that happened with Trespassing, IMO. I think you will go back to QOL, one of your friends miss you, and maybe more too. Things are pretty calm over there, the calmest I've seen it since Q+AL started . You don't have much to worry about, unless you do the same old, same old. Merry Christmas, sweetcaroline.
