CM, as I remember Sniville version was the first proper video/audio restoration project of this show about 10 years ago.
Pittrek's version was based on Sniville version with updated/upgraded sound.
So the PRE-Sniville source most probably is the RAW 1 DVD version which I uploaded by your request 1-2 years ago.
It seems to me that it's better to use this unprocessed version for masking or some other patch work.
Don't forget about antiden's version which is also very good but has timecode as well. Probably it's one generation higher than brianswig's, I don't know...

Yes, that's exactly what I'm using. Thanks again for uploading it! The problem is that it cuts off. Two times for a few seconds during the concert and the very end.
Antiden's version is a higher generation one and looks worse indeed. I didn't find any use for it.
Here's a sample of how the finished version will look like (95% chance I won't alter it) - link
OK the static pictures don't look anything special, but the video sample looks fantastic! When I was doing my version I knew about the gaps, I have used black screens for the few frames long gaps between some of the songs, don't really remember which songs they were, and I used the ending from the old YourValentine recording, that's why the ending looks much worse. I never managed to find a good source for those parts

Thanks! Well, the editor screenshots are there to pinpoint the blank bits. Also, that version is not really enhanced yet, it's just a base for the masking and merging.
Edit: I fixed these with an old crappy version. It blends in just enough to get away with it. Sometimes testing is the only way to know for sure..
