Maybe we will be surprised and they will add another different song to their set list tonight? How about I Was Born To Love You? |

A Kind of Magic ? Wow, they haven't perform it since 1986, right ? Maybe according to Brian's memory they haven't performed it and IWBTLY live at all ! Gosh, that is so interesting and so risky for them !!! :))) |

Good show. I was there. Magic was added to the set list. Highlights were Under Pressure, Killer Queen and the medley that followed, Who Wants To Live Forever. The sound was perfect but too low volume for my taste. Can also be because I was sitting on the side at Taylor’s drum kit level. Most shitty seats I have ever had. I didn’t see any visuals on the screen. Band played with pleasure but nearly all songs were played too slow. I was missing the sweat. Should be much more rock n roll. |

^they're old. They're not even catering to their fanbase. Yeah. Probably tired as well. Speed is a young man's game....strange thing is, none of their songs excepting SCC are really "fast" even at that age. Brian plays on 8/9's mixed in. ..those are seriously LIGHT GAUGE. Don't know what the trouble is....maybe comprehension. I'll just shut up. I love these guys despite the obvious flaws in the current tour. |
dastard 14.11.2017 10:41 |
I was there, the show was great but there were many technical problems, Brian had problems with the volume of his guitar, Spike's keyboard stopped working at Somebody To Love. The songs were indeed slow, and Brian played a bit sloppy. The funniest thing was that he said Albert instead of Adam, Adam responded that it was okay Byron. That was a fun moment. |

They can do an acoustic tour maybe in next year? |

Of course I know. I was being sarcastic! NOTW tracks must return to their shows, if not, well... then the rest of the tour will be jinxed! |
mvdk 14.11.2017 20:04 |
Well, I was there too, but I'm less skeptical. Yes, especially TYMD was a bit slow in the start, but it did get a good vibe during the song. I heard and have spoken many people after the show and they were very positive about it. This morning I read some praising reviews (both in Dutch): link and [23:19, 13-11-2017] +31 6 25073805: link Yes, it was a 'Greatest Hits set-list, yes I missed specials like SYW and IL, but I had a really good time, just like nearly 17.000 other people. |
SweetCaroline 14.11.2017 23:50 |
Exactly! Yes it would be nice to have more songs from the NOTW album, but having “Frank” there to break down the wall in the beginning, provide a new place for Adam to lounge on as he sings “Killer Queen,” hold up Brian in the palm of his hand while strumming his glorious guitar solo, clapping during Radio GaGa and then waving goodbye to the audience at the end of the show as he gently brings down the set to its original spot — THAT is enough! |
Vocal harmony 15.11.2017 00:29 |
^^^ isn't that like Pink Floyd announcing The Wall Tour then not playing anything off the album, but it's OK because we still got the plane crash the teacher puppet and the wall got built. Its about music, and they said the show would be based on the NOTW album and have more deep cuts than before, they haven't done that, but we got Frank so that's OK! That's what everyone spent their money for! |

Vocal Harmony, to each his own. I LOVED the live show I saw even though I watched the periscopes and videos of the NA shows where those two songs were included in the set list. I still don’t know why they didn’t keep them in there because they were performed beautifully, but to me it did not matter. The show I saw on July 21st was absolutely magnificent and worth every penny of the admission! |

How many times will 15,000 people turn up to watch a band brilliantly play the songs they brilliantly played last time. Take away the down stage video screen and the stage lift and you're down to a greatest hits show (again) with two thirds of a track from the album the tour is meant to be built around! |

New lighting rig and graphics doesn't take away that this show is a rehash of previous tours. |

I'm sorry you have such low standards and expectations. |
Iron Butterfly 16.11.2017 08:07 |
I absolutely agree with the above...the lights, Frank, confetti, ec cannot make up for what is missing/lacking in these shows. As glad as I am AKOM is being performed, that's a boring, safe choice compared to what could be performed. |
dastard 16.11.2017 13:31 |
There was no energy whatsoever, Adam had a little energy and Tyler had a lot, but the rest was too boring to watch. I saw Brian in 98 in Utrecht, that show had a lot of energy, you could really feel it. |

SweetCaroline wrote: So what?In context of the subject, that answer says so much! Question. Do you own the Live At The Rainbow DVD. If you do, when watching it do you turn the sound down and play Greatest Hits while you're watching it? |
