After going it myself, and watching people die from cancer...I wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemy, let alone someone on a message board.
Sweetcaroline is ok, just annoying and stubborn at times, but aren't we all :P. I will admit that I am!
just tuned in accidentally ... it's nice to hear the boys doing a show ... whereever... and knowing by hearing: they rock !
carry on !
STOP THE HATE... the group of your favourites is doing a show quite now ! listen to the music ! JUST THAT.
it's great! it's joyful to follow a show by a ... yes... low quality audio stream.... hey! what do you wish for ? THAT'S the new media and its opportunities...
I FOR MYSELF D O ENJOY THAT. !
thanks for the opportunity to join, to tune in !
@sweetCaroline: first of all: you rock for the choice of your handle.
furthermore... sad to hear you suffer from NPH. all my best wishes.
overall... you seem to attract some AL haters here... don't let you down! you're doing right... as i might say... aswell BM is a fan, as RT is...
so. what's the fuzz about the haters ? there shall not be any !
rock on!
and thanks for the link.
it made my evening !
Just came back from the show.
I have seen some live concerts, but the sound was perfect.
Very professional show. Sound, lights, gimmicks all perfect.
I enjoyed gdml. Dsmn and wwtlf. Breakfree didnt do it for me.
Brian was and is THE man.. stole the show in his silver outfit :)
and.. i guess adam didnt mess up with the rhap.
Looks like Lambert takes the last verses of BoRhap now too ("nothing really matters..."). TPTB probably couldn't handle the fact that Freddie was getting thunderous applause whenever he'd show up on screen throughout the show, so they're trying to remove him from anything and everything piece-by-piece. Next to go? Probably the day-o bit (again).
Glad he got the part of Bohemian Rhapsody correct this time, but was there a problem at the ending?
Please allow Freddie to be seen and heard with Bohemian Rhapsody...he deserves that respect and recognition.
Freddie has been acknowledged and given both respect and recognition in all of the QAL shows in the past 5 years. Did that happen in the QPR shows since Paul was considered a peer to Queen and HIS music was featured along with Queen’s? I’m not familiar with the QPR shows and whether they got as much scrutiny and criticism as the QAL shows get.
PR songs wer more familiar to Queen fans - they were the same generation. Bad Company or Fell Like Making Love are certainly better songs than TwoFux for example.
I agree that Paul’s songs were more well known. Adam has had successful worldwide solo tours but his fans are limited because TPTB in the States haven’t given him the recognition given to lesser talents such as Justin Bieber. Maybe his time is still coming after QAL? He doesn’t play a musical instrument so he can’t just stand in front of a mic in a plaid shirt and strum a guitar! He’s more comfortable singing Queen music than his own, especially in an arena where he can let lose with his powerful voice!
My thoughts. When DOOL was performed in earlier tours, I thnk that way was the best way to pay tribute to Freddie ( and John)during the shows.
There's even less of Freddie now, which I think is a shame. I hope the powers that be don't end up cutting him out.
Love of My Life has always been a beautiful tribute to Freddie. In the recent QAL tours, Adam has been sure to honor Brian and Roger as rock legends and to speak of Freddie as his personal hero. John Deacon has been a bit overlooked but they are still showing vintage clips of the original band during Radio Gaga I believe!
They have added Freddie’s famous “Dayo” to the encore so you are wrong that they are cutting him out of the show. I really think this is their last tour so pretty soon they will all be gone. I say enjoy the current moments, icy, and be glad for what they are doing instead of picking them apart.
Am I saying anything 'wrong' with my views above? First and foremost, I'm a Queen and Freddie fan. So, I am hoping Freddie will not be cut out from the shows entirely. I loved DOOL when Roger sang it more than anything else, because I felt and still feel that was the perfect way to remember Freddie and John. Yes, John gets overlooked, ...that makes no sense to have less of Freddie and John and more of AL. Sorry, with so many Queen songs should be given the chance to be played instead.
Don't even try to lay a guilt trip on me about this may be the last time they tour.
