I’ve listened to the streams from both the Prague and Munich shows and the audiences were just as pumped up and receptive as always so I don’t know what You negative nellies are talking about. I agree, the magic is gone. The only 'new' thing is an AL solo song. When there are so many Queen songs that could be played, once again the choice is to put an AL song in the set list. I don't know what and why the hell Brian goes on about 'risk'. Clearly the lack of rehearsals and not caring is showing like never before. I think this is the beginning of the end for Q+AL. There was a couple months break between tours, time enough to work things out and get the lyrics right. Apparently, that wasn't done. |

Point out to me what Adam did wrong! I’m not seeing it. I agree that they should have more songs from the 40th anniversary album NOTW. I think the Queen guys really appreciate Adam’s chemistry and dependability with them and that’s why they want to recognize him with one of his own songs even though WWFM has never been MY favorite. Adele can’t compare to Adam as a live performer. Record sales is a different matter. |

I agree that calls to remove anyone on here, or Adam, are premature and unnecessary. The last thing that is needed on here is censorship. But the criticism for Adam's forgetting the words to the song he partly owes his career to is fair game. Once is disappointing but pardonable (31 July), twice is pitiful (1 Nov, after rehearsals too), three times is disgraceful (2 Nov). Six years in this role. It adds some fuel to the argument that whoever comes after the + is entirely replaceable. |

Sure, Freddie and many other artists have forgotten and messed up lyrics at times. From what he seen and heard from the last two Q+AL concerts, it's like not much thought or care is put into it anymore. I think that's a shame. As for AL having one of his solo songs once again in the set list. I still feel there are so many more Q songs that could be given the chance to be played. But so far that's not happening, and I doubt it will. I actually liked AL singing IL, but that was dropped suddenly. |
