Hope someone records and shares this from proper radio broadcast, not from webstreams. But there aren't much people from UK around here, is there? link
Prepare to experience this spectacular concert featuring the BBC Concert Orchestra, conducted by Richard Sidwell, together with a rock band and four incredible singers, all of whom have starred in the West End production of We Will Rock You: Rachael Wooding, Peter Eldridge, Jenna Lee James and Michael Falzon.
The evening will showcase Queen’s greatest songs: from the very first hit single Seven Seas Of Rhye in 1974 right through to The Show Must Go On, the song poignantly written by Freddie Mercury when he knew he was approaching the end of his life.
With full symphonic arrangements blended with a great rock band, this Friday Night Is Music Night special will include a celebration of the classic album A Night At The Opera and mark the 40th anniversary of News of the World, which features the two great anthems, We Are the Champions and We Will Rock You.
The London Coliseum, home of English National Opera, welcomes BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night for the first time and provides the perfect setting for this special performance.
This is your chance to hear songs including Killer Queen, Somebody To Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, Don’t Stop Me Now and many more – like you’ve never heard them before!
The concert will be broadcast on Radio 2 on Friday 13 October.
ps: what's wrong with the advanced editor? It doesn't work! And know because of it not working, there's to posts on this...
...THE SHOW MUST GO ON. ...written by Freddie Mercury. ....
...again. smh.
We can surmise he had some input and knew damn well what Brian had intended with it.
Oh never mind.
Either way i wouldn't know how to record it. Thanks for the heads up!
