It looked very silly. So therefore I loved it. Great adventurous setlist, great gimmicks. Sounded great. Well done Queen + AL. |

Photos or videos please. Great setlist |

Hurrah - a real overhaul of the set! Will be interesting if Europe stays the same six months down the line (I Want To Break Free an obvious, but welcomed, omission) |
softcalavera2 24.06.2017 02:19 |
I think that wwry slow version is not a good choice to start the show...Fast version will be better choice. |
jeffuk49 24.06.2017 03:30 |
brilliant set list, something for everyone |
felix ibex 24.06.2017 03:41 |
Yes We Will Rock You fast version should Open , Hammer to Fall and Fat Bottom Girls needs to be shortern..too long! much prefer 'Liar' or 'Sheer Heart Attack' to replace them...what a Fantastic Show ..WOW! |
jeffuk49 24.06.2017 03:48 |

Who wants to bet that by the time they reach Europe most of the NOTW material has been scrapped? Still - amazing setlist. Who would've imagined something like this 10-15 years ago when they were doing WWRY with whoever was in the charts at the time. What an amazing band. |
Pim Derks 24.06.2017 04:34 |
A full setlist with only 5 songs from 1980 onwards. Am I dreaming? |
bucsateflon 24.06.2017 05:08 |
super super setlist!! |

It's clogged up the setlists since 2008. Hammer To Fall I enjoyed watching this morning as it's the full version. Pim Derks wrote: Who wants to bet that by the time they reach Europe most of the NOTW material has been scrapped?Yep. Can see AKOM and IWTBF coming in for Europe. It would be as much of a travesty as limiting I Was Born To Love You to Japan. |

Where the fuck is TYMD?!?!?! |
Michael Allred 24.06.2017 08:43 |
5 songs, some of those done.only partially? Hardly what I can a massive retooling of the setlist. |
Graeme Arnott 24.06.2017 08:52 |
The Robot steals the show lol. |
bucsateflon 24.06.2017 09:30 |
the robot fx are impressive at the end of the solo the hand came down too soon I hope that was a mistake and not the normal choreography |
GonnaUseMyPrisoners 24.06.2017 10:20 |
The setlist is a dream - almost like getting the chance to see Live Killers come to life, in a way. Always wished for that! I can NOT allow myself to spoil every surprise by watching youtube, though, I just can't. Seeing them on July 13 - I MUST MUST MUST wait... But just imagine, folks, if they took the LP focus theme and did, oh, I dunno, Innuendo instead on the Euro dates? |

Graeme Arnott 24.06.2017 12:41 |
It has not been a rarity for a reason, it is one of the all time kick ass rockers in a live situation. |
NickESB 25.06.2017 01:23 |
If only Queen had a few more such songs, eh? That's the one thing about this setlist that frustrates me: they're clearly showing a bit willing by adding rarities like GDML, It's Late, Spread into the set, and giving AL all but a couple of lines of Bo Rhap. But FBG (especially with the White Man intro), LOML with Freddie, I Want It All etc are all really tired. It's not as if these were fresh additions in 2016; they've been in the set throughout the PR/AL era. |
brian-harold-may 26643 25.06.2017 02:25 |
You need to remember the entire audience isn't made up of die hard queen fans. There are a lot of people there who will only know the hits...and that's why things like FBG will stay. They can't do an entire set of 70's album tracks, They have to get the balance right. I guess no matter what they'll always be those that are never pleased |

I guess no matter what they'll always be those that are never pleasedYep, there's the predictable response: I wasn't asking for that. Then again, why not test the audience further by playing 10-12 album tracks? The best live artists always have done, just as they have an ability to call for audibles based on the mood at certain points of each show based on atmosphere/conditions etc. Heck, Queen didn't exactly have an arsenal of hits to play in 1973/1974/1975, yet won people over. But given the breadth of their singles catalogue alone, there's so much more that could be done. The post-1984 choices, in particular, have always been somewhat uninspiring during the PR/AL era, after all. 10 of the songs in the current set (taking BHM's guitar solo/Last Horizon as one) appeared in the Q+PR set for Brixton in 2005. |

I would remove FBG with headlong and get either innuendo or sheer heart attack in the set instead of stone cold crazy and hammer to fall |
brian-harold-may 26643 25.06.2017 05:27 |
A predictable answer to a tired complaint to be honest. It's not 1976 anymore and Queen aren't going to win over a legion of new fans with 70's rock. The music industry is a completely different place. If they played more album tracks the casual fans would complain they didn't do under pressure or another one bites the dust. |
kevin79 25.06.2017 09:58 |
Overall, I like the setlist. It's a nice balance of hits for the common fan and some deeper cuts for the hardcore fans. The only changes I would make is to open with the fast version of "We Will Rock You" which would create a great opening 1,2,3 punch with "Hammer to Fall" and "Fat Bottomed Girls" following. I'd move the slow WWRY to the end before WATC, and add Sheer Heart Attack to the encore after "Spread Your Wings." I think it would pep up the encore picking it up and giving a last dose of straight up rock before the stadium anthems of Rock You and Champions. |

queenliveforever! 34422 wrote: I would remove FBG with headlong and get either innuendo or sheer heart attack in the set instead of stone cold crazy and hammer to fallYes, it would give the setlist an even more "new" Feel and sound quite different from these two almost expected songs. I think by the time the tour hits Europe/UK Rock You will be back in the encore and Spread Your Wings will replace Two Fux |
Krypto_98 25.06.2017 12:56 |
Rock you came back in the encore as well as gaga |
99jaystang 25.06.2017 17:05 |
tons of smoke and Fast we will rock you would be a better opening. Not sure about Hammer to fall on the set for North America, was not a big hit here. same recycle material along with I want it all. |
Vocal harmony 26.06.2017 09:42 |
If they played a 23 song set. They could play 17 or 18 hits including Love Of My Live, the guitar and drum solos spots then still have room for 5 or 6 deep cuts and real surprises. It would keep the greatest hits market happy and be a real treat for the older fans |
