"Amid the seemingly endless bad news of terrorist attacks and disasters, one man apparently has more pressing concerns".
The readers' comments are mostly brutal too : (
Coming from a newspaper that on the same day as the attacks (and every day) runs a never ending sidebar of stories about celebrities showing off their figures and which reality TV nobody is dating which other reality TV nobody, that is fucking rich.
And naturally the comments are brutal, the sort of people that read the Daily Mail as an actual news source are the worst kind of mindless, hate spewing idiots.

News forum commenters often aren't regular people, but paid for by some form of special interests to shape public opinion. It's the newest form of propaganda in the west - and it's effective, as these people are extremely well organized.
The CBC forums in Canada are literally 75% people like this, with most of the comments being straw men or ad hominem arguments, or just outright lies presented as fact. For example:
"So we can comment on cellphone charges but not on the fact that Trudeau doesn't give straight answers to straight questions like he promised he would. How CBC is that."
The first time I noticed it was in 2008, when the most of the comments on articles about the Beijing Olympics were in broken English and defending China's human rights records, made by "people" with accounts started the day before. And these people suddenly disappeared the day the Olympics ended.
But as long as we're aware of this phenomenon, we'll just start to take comments less seriously.
I first read his rant on his website, I think it was last week. I also got the first class complaining feeling and whining to much......but it's his right....
I'm feeling embarrassed a bit because I'm not even British, but I could not resist, posting this comment there.
"Just a bunch of losers and nobody's, whining and complaining about a man of some integrity and character and accomplishment, not to mention stature, if not acclaim and popularity. BTW, it was Freddie who chose them, and not they who chose Freddie. What he saw in them, only he knows. Their contribution to music is certainly noteworthy, if not newsworthy. You certainly get much more than your money's worth listening to that average guy play, than you possibly could get traveling first class innumerable times across all those carriers, with a good window view of the magnificent skies with their majestic clouds. just as much as I am not worthy enough to comment on it, or any of the tabloids and periodicals"

Quite true, however, the audience at the Daily Mail does reflect its editorial bent. i.e. low IQ, racist, poor but fooled into thinking they'll one day be rewarded with riches if they just work harder for less money, and so vote against their own interests accordingly.
Bit like Republicans.
How is it in any way "decent" for a multi-millionaire to complain about a service that he CHOOSES to use at a time when the country of his birth is the subject of political chaos, the target of terrorism on a, seemingly, weekly basis and where people have lost their lives on a huge scale in a recent tower block fire?
Is this man a prat? Me thinks that headline needs to be re-used and have him widely ridiculed as being the greedy, self-centered, narcissistic
fucking idiot that he is.
Common Decency; my arse.

The world is in political chaos, people are dying in burning buildings, terrorism is rife, evil doers lurk around every corner, AND ALL YOU CAN THINK ABOUT IS TALKING SHIT ABOUT ROCK STARS?!?!?!?!
What kind of a fucking sick, trivial minded arsehole ARE YOU? Why don't you care about the dead children you horrible fuck?
Common Decency, my arse.
Pingfah, re:
>(your post)
Clearly you're a starry-eyed fan of the curly haired, misogynistic pillock; and more power to you. You'll learn.
Reading comments like this must hurt your sensitive schoolgirl sensibilities, but, rest assured, the good Dr. will surely amaze us sometime soon with a complete turn around and use his website as a means of eliciting real socio-political change.
I'm sure the global travel industry has taken note of his concerns and acted positively to make sure that he never has to suffer such indecent travel circumstances in the future.
As for my caring about dying kids........... That's hardly the point, is it, you dick?
Come, now, mummy's just called time for you to pop upstairs and brush your teeth before bed.
Sweet dreams little lady.
Pingfah, re:
> shall I kiss it better?
You're a cop, aren't you.
You're not going to groom me like that and ought to be ashamed of yourself for suggesting it. Weren't you the one concerned about my concern for 'the kids'?
You filthy bitch.......
Pingfah, re:
>non sequiturs
Ya got it all wrong. Again.
Logic says that in offering to kiss whatever you believe to be wrong, better, you want physical contact. I haven't solicited anything from you, yet you feel the need (wierd compulsion or perverse inclination) to offer that up.
Do moderators here look to stamp on the heads of wierd fucks like you or can you just blindly stumble on in the hope that someone might take your lure?
