Really, really conflicted.
I wanna see Brian before he retires.
That's literally the only attraction for me, although Roger is still a pimp and on principle it'd be cool to see him sing the 1 or 2 songs where he's up front.
It's an awful lot of money to spend on a show where 80% of it is being sung by a pesky voice that cannot rise above the band.
Gonna have to play this by ear and hope that it doesn't sell out before I can make up my mind properly.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing them in Sydney last time. It was my kid's first rock concert as was it mine when I saw the original band in 1976. Stuff the bitchiness and enjoy the music we love and at least one half of Queen keeping it alive.

Absolutely. Going again because of Brian, and to a lesser extent, Roger. Nothing like hearing the Red Special live.
Purchased my tickets this morning.
Just to see Brian, I really thought about it - really did, as in 'mouse hovering over the prices' sort of thing - but it's a ripoff. Gigs sure are more expensive since I saw The Who.

I guess it depends on when you saw The Who.
Since it seems their tickets go from $150-$550 USD. link
Well, it was 2009! And I wasn't up the front by any means (although one piece of shit I know from way back paid the same amount as me, and then waltzed up to the front and got away with it).
I'm really, really considering going - I can't overstate how much I'd like to see the Dr. before he retires. I might be just as happy seeking out the Brian/Roger-centric stuff on YouTube after the shows, though.
It's just music, they are playing a bunch of old songs, and two of the people that wrote them are still going, and actually they still pay bloody well, I saw a number of gigs with freddie and trust me they weren't all always great, 1984 they were a total bag of washing, no interest in the music, the crowd or the sound... The energy they have now is 100 times more than that gig.... go see them before they stop
You've got to understand that when you find a lead singer's voice to be utterly vile, it's not a small thing to just tune it out for almost an entire set so you can hear your favourite guitarist MAYBE sing a couple of songs.
Especially not at these prices!
