Thanks Freddie rey In February 2012, a Scotch 10" Reel To Reel master recording of Sheer Heart Attack was auctioned in the UK. The tape was sourced from Trident Studios and came directly from a colleague of John Reid. The tape features 6 tracks ("Lap Of The Gods - Part 2", "Brighton Rock", "Killer Queen" "Now I'm Here", "Dear Friends", and "She Makes Me"). All of the tracks but two are the album version. This version of In The Lap Of The Gods... Revisited is labeled as "In The Lap Of The Gods - Part 2" on the tape box. Instead of ending with the large explosion, the track continues with the band playing to a rough end. Roy Thomas Baker can be heard bantering at the end. Queenvault.com. |

252 downloads of the speed-corrected version; where is the gratitude? QZ never fails to amaze me when things are made available FOR FREE that are NEVER going to come out officially.......... |
| Chief Mouse 17.05.2017 11:34 |
Nameless people who later on just reupload the stuff on youtube & facebook. Nothing we can do though. |

Thanks to all those involved in bringing this here. If it was you that bought this at auction Freddie, it's extremely generous of you to share here. If not you, we all share a huge debt of gratitude to the original purchaser, who I would hope was happy for it to be shared. Maybe the alternative version of Now I'm Here will appear sometime in the future. Thanks again. |

It's funny.. seeing the running time I thought OMG it's a whole extra minute! Then listening to it of course it stops exactly where it should. Growing up with all Bowie albums having the track times in brackets after the title I'm now questioning my knowledge of lengths of Queen songs :( |
| dudeofqueen 19.05.2017 06:20 |
re: >Now I'm Here from the same reel has additional vocals by Mike Stone. I reckon we got the top prize from the reel then....... |
