Just noticed this on queenlive.ca "This is an excellent recording, although fairly distant, so audience members are often heard as loudly as the music. This copy emerged in 2017, blowing away all previous versions" Looking at the lineage it seems to be the same one! Can you confirm this Kurgan (when the download finishes?). http://queenlive.ca/queen/86-06-07.htm -Chin |

^ Yes it is. |
pittrek 01.04.2017 11:10 |
Can somebody please upload it here for those of us who lost our dime accounts? EDIT OK I managed to create a new account after several years of trying but I feel like a complete idiot - where is the download link on dime? Shouldn't there be a link to the .torrent file somewhere? |
. 01.04.2017 11:21 |
Top left, where it says torrent file. |
pittrek 01.04.2017 11:26 |

It should work as a hyperlink, click on it. |
pittrek 01.04.2017 11:37 |
Nope it doesn't work, that's the first thing I tried because I remember it working that way. I even checked the HTML, it's just a normal text inside a TD, there is no A, and no javascript which would be called onclick. Did you try it today? Because I start to think if it has something to do with today's date. |

Oh, so they DID change the rules in the time I was "out"? That's sad, cause I tried even the oldest torrents and I still can't download anything, So back to my previous question - could somebody be so kind and share it also here? Thanks in advance |
The Real Wizard 01.04.2017 14:45 |
I would post it here, but there's an etiquette thing - it should run its course on the tracker where it was first posted before stamping it with your own name and putting it somewhere else. This kind of thing upsets a lot of tapers/seeders. So someone should just post on the Dime thread, asking the seeder permission to seed it somewhere else, or how long his grace period is if he has one. He seems very nice, but it's always good to check. It also looks good on the community to show that you respect the tapers and seeders above all. |
The Real Wizard 01.04.2017 14:59 |
Btw - he also posted Gary Moore's opening set in Stockholm 86. |

Should have been left on dime, does anyone bother to read a thread? |
gbmaster 02.04.2017 16:14 |
As far as I can remember, when you register to Dime, you're like a Guest user. You need to ask to be changed to "power user", or something like that, in order to be able to download torrent. It's written somewhere in their wiki |

dave76 wrote: For those of you having trouble getting it through Dime, here is the torrent file from the Queen hub.Is anybody seeding?? i am stuck at 27% any seeders would be much appreciated. Listened to the sample and its superb, almost at the same level of Vienna o Berlin. It is incredible that new tapes keep surfacing after so many years. I hope one day a better Leiden 86' copy can see the light of day. |

I believe this is a better copy of a previous transfer with an edited C5 in WATC, I think anyway. The man at the beginning of this recording sounds like the same guy in the old gen copy. Thanks to the original uploader, sounds a hell of a lot better! -Chin |
MercurialFreddie 03.04.2017 10:52 |
Many thanks for this upgrade! It was already an excellent recording but this is a lot cleaner copy! That audience..... whistling before Radio Ga Ga kicks in can kill.... |
The Real Wizard 03.04.2017 12:28 |
From reading this thread, it sounds like Dime's policies are working perfectly - they're keeping out the leechers who couldn't care less about helping others. |
