For those who do not know, the song My Fairy King was inspired by an 1888 poem from an epic book by Robert Browning's called "The Pied Piper." I am passionate about this song, it has a Of the most beautiful phrases that Freddie has ever put into a song '' ... someone has drained the colors of my wings ... '' I could not help but share what I learned from a document by John Stuart (A Mega Archivist of Queen of unofficial character) with the blog and the fans that come here. Here is the lyrics of My Fairy King by Freddie Mercury:
Quick Curiosity:

Here is the letter:
(My Fairy King)
My elf king
In the land where horses are born with victorious wings
And where bees have stingers
There are eternal songs.
Lions caves with deer families
And rivers made of wines so clear
Flow over eternity
Dragons fly like sparrows in the air
And babies lambs like samson dare
To continue, to continue, to continue.
My elf king can
See things
It turns into air and turns the tides
This is not there for you and me.
Ohh yes he guides the winds
My elf king can do everything right and nothing wrong
Then he became a wild man in the night
Run like thieves and kill with knives
Take the force away from the magic hand
Causing destruction in the promised land
They turn the milk into acid
Like the blue blood of my veins
Why can not I see this?
Fire burning in hell with cries and screams in the rain.
Son of heaven sit down and let me go
The sea becomes dry without the salty taste of sand.
Seasons do not help time
Teeth do not shine like pearls to the eyes of poor men.
Someone just leaked the colors of my wings.
Breaking my elf circle that resonates.
And the king's fallacy in all his pride.
They changed their wings and missed the tides.
Mother mercury, mercury.
Look what they've done to me.
I can not run, I can not hide ...

A part below the '' Fairy King '' session of the poem:
230 And when all went to the last,
The door on the side of the mountain closed quickly.
I said, everything? No! One of them was lame,
And could not dance all the way;
234 and in later years, he would blame himself
His sadness, he was accustomed to say, -
"It's dull in our town!
237 '' I can not forget that I am desolate
"Of all the pleasant attractions that you see,
"What Hammelin also promised me.
240 "For he led us, according to him, into a joyful land,
241 '' By joining the city and only in the hand,
242 '' Where the waters gushed out and fruit trees grew,
243 '' and flowers placed before a fair tonality,
"And everything was strange and new;
"The sparrows were brighter than the peacocks here,
246 "and his dogs overcame our cattle,
"And the bees had lost their stings,
248 horses were born with the wings of eagles;
249 '' And just as I became safe
250 '' My lame foot would heal quickly,
"The music stopped and I was still,
"I saw myself off the hill,
"Left alone against my will,
"Now to go limping like before,
255 '' And never hear of the country ever again! ''

That just seems to be the original poem, not a transcription of a recording.
The lyrics at top are very similar to My Fairy King, yet different. Underneath is the section from the Browning poem, 'The Pied Piper' that has just two lines that apparently inspired the opening lines in My Fairy King:
"And the bees had lost their stings,
horses were born with the wings of eagles;
So, it's still a mystery as to where the lyrics at top come from.
The John Stuart thread makes no mention of them.
