A tribute to George Michael is organized at the Paradiso music hall in Amsterdam today. A variety of Dutch artists will perform George Michael's hits. Youtube live stream today at 21.00 (Dutch time): link
it's just awful, most of the performing artists can't carry the song(s) the way that George Michael did. Some of them even sing out of tune and indeed it's a mess. Shame, nice effort but not a great tribute.

Yeah you should hear the comments about Bowie tribute night. Painful.
speaking of, I just bought (*fairly pricey) tickets for a Bowie tribute next week at the Wiltern featuring a few of his former musicians; the ones I can remember are Adrian Belew and Gail Ann Dorsey,
special guest for Jan 24th??....
... STING!
(or as you may otherwise know him more famously as Gordon Sumner)
@4:50 (link above) Herpes and The Love Affair? ??
I'm confused, the MC sounds like he's got phlegm problems. Thanks for posting this; I WILL watch the rest at work.

What a Mish mash, Imo since Freddie died nobody does a massive memorial concert like that. But good to see someone doing something I guess
