Because all the negative ones get deleted!! Tragic and funny at the same time, in all possible ways. This made me think about that Rolling Stone Jazz review... Those who know their history and their Queen stuff know what I'm talking about. |

^^^ I think we've all been brought in line by the Jim Beach dictatorship ;) Go with it or leave! at least Kate Bush is releasing a three CD set of her Before The Dawn Shows complete for under £15. But then again that's a person who has a genuine love of what she does. |

MIne lasted 15 minutes top. Haha! It read WTF!!!???? 30th Anniversary of the band's last concert and we get nothing!! 40th Anniversary(YES!! 40 FUC...ING YEARS!) of hyde park and we get a big N again!! And now, all we get this year is a crappy 6CD set which includes the INCOMPLETE SESSIONS, INCOMPLETE GOLDEN GREEN'S CONCERT and to complete the f.ck up, INCOMPLETE CONCERTS FROM THE SOUTH AMERICAN AND MAGIC TOUR, and it's insane, because MANHEIM AND SAO PAULO deserve to be released in full since the band's performance was magnificent those nights. Every year is worse. I guess i'll have to wait for an auction if i am to get this. In the meantime i'll wait for it to be up on MEGA. It's really Dissapointing the way Die hard fans and fans in general are being treated by QPL. Oh, and i forgot, why on earth you did not include any dvd?? you could have easily included the full Sao Paulo concert. Mi advise! Skip this one! yet another chance wasted. I hope next year we get something worth buying, Houston 77??? |
Vocal harmony 30.09.2016 09:29 |
^^^ got you, mine was active for about six minutes today! All I did was say that The Stones, The Who, Led Zep, Floyd, Crimson and Kate Bush had or were about to release better product than the live disc in the Six disc set! Someone at Queen towers doesn't like the truth and they're now watching the shit climb the walls |

At least i was 100% Honest plus when deleting the negative comments they realise how the real fan feels about this new releases. And believe me i do not moan just because, i did like Rainbow, also Hungarian Rhapsody was great,The Great pretender documentary too, also the 2011 days of our lives was magnificent, but that's it. Hammy 75 could have been better, messenger of the gods, was anohter compilation. forever a bad joke, the only good thing there was LIYHA and now this Queen on air?? It is incredible how they continue to fuck up every chance they have to deliver something great. No Knebworth and no Hyde park this year is insulting for someone that has followed them since his fifth or sixth birthday. |

The recent development amuses me on all kind of levels :) And this time they can't even get away with their usual "Moanzone" reaction. Love it ! |

Deleting feedback from the people most likely to buy your product. Holy fuckwit Batman!. |

They forget that comments can also be made on Amazon website. It will be more embarrassing for them. |
cmsdrums 30.09.2016 10:49 |
Can't you only make comments on Amazon once you've purchased? If so then they'll already gave your cash and so won't care!! |
pittrek 30.09.2016 12:33 |
Oh, the comment section is gone now. Sad. And no, on amazon you can comment on any product you want. |
Nitroboy 30.09.2016 12:57 |
So where are these comments being deleted? I see plenty of negative comments here, on Facebook, and on the QOL forum. |

joerijoerijoeri 30.09.2016 14:22 |
It is incredibly amusing to read all these comments and I agree with most of them. At least it's nice to have the BBC sessions released officially? I'd like to have them on vinyl. |

Not only commenting was disabled in the press release on Queen On Air, they disabled the hability of commenting and deleted every comment on queenonline.com news section, even those from 2009. |

All they had to do was release Hyde Park '76 this year for the 40th anniversary and I'm sure the vast majority would have been very happy (simples) - instead we have this debacle! (I think when a company announces a new product and its own loyal customers respond by posting hostile even abusive comments on its website, to the extent that they all have to be removed to save embarrassment, it's fair to call it a debacle). |

It seems that no matter what Queen do, their "real" fans are unhappy. Come on, people! The truth is that Queen did not have to release anything at all! Yes, "On Air" could certainly be better, and the omission of complete concert recordings is bizarre, to say the least. Yes, I would rather have Hyde Park. As a "real" fan, I here you and empathize with you. However, at least we are getting the complete BBC sessions (including "Spread Your Wings", "It's Late", etc.). Furthermore, if folks are disappointed with the box set, then they have the option of ordering the 2-disc version. |

Just wondering why the negativity? One of the biggest complaints in recent years was the Anthology set not being released and the BBC sessions. Now we're getting the BBC and everyone's still complaining. What sessions are missing? |

I've read that the sessions themselves have been remastered and remixed but no word on the concerts. Are they to be released without a remaster and remix then? |

Whether they've been remixed depends on whether they have the multitracks or just the already mixed down stereo tapes. They presumably have the multitrack with 'See What A Fool I've Been' on as the 2011 deluxe edition release was remixed. |

mike hunt wrote: Just wondering why the negativity? One of the biggest complaints in recent years was the Anthology set not being released and the BBC sessions. Now we're getting the BBC and everyone's still complaining. What sessions are missing?1) People are happy that the BBC sessions are finally being released so almost everybody is happy the 2-disc set is happening. It would have been better if the "mega rare item" Greg claimed to exist many years ago on this forum would have been included.... 2) The "deluxe" edition is what makes the fans on here, on QOL and everywhere else so angry! It's supposed to be aimed at "collectors" while clearly the content brings nothing new to said collectors. This is the business approach that QPL have chosen for years now and it's the total opposite of what other bands are doing. For example: Deep Purple re-release Made in Japan with a collectors edition with all shows from that Japanese tour. Yes release Progeny: a version with hightlights and a 7 complete concerts version! They could easily have included full concerts in the "On air" release. They can also easily: -->Make a 1977 Earls Court box with both shows in audio and video -->make a NOTW 1977 box with Houston and whatever audio they have from that tour -->make a 1979 box with tons of shows from both Live Killers and Crazy tours That would be collectors editions! They can then easily make - next to those collector editions - 2 disc versions with just one show or the best bits. That way BOTH the general music enthousiast and the Queen die-hard would get what they want! |
bucsateflon 05.10.2016 13:30 |
You want too much, those concerts deserve a release on their own, we just got a nice bonus, don't get greedy. Queen productions need to pace these releases for the next decades. |
