Hey everyone! In 2011, the Rock In Rio Lost footage was shared here, but unfortunately some songs were cut out as that version of the song was used in the official release. A good example being Seven Seas Of Rhye from the first night because just before the song begins on the Lost footage DVD it's cut but on the official release the video doesn't actually start until "Fear me" because it's edited horribly. Could someone please upload the full Lost footage DVD for both nights? :) -Chin |

As far as I remember, Lost Footage had the complete first night (in pretty bad quality, see this:link and a 52 minutes footage from the second night, beautifully restored by chief mouse (link Check out those two links :-) |

Downloading now, it's just that the version here: http://www.queenconcerts.com/queenzone/1286820.html The official clips were edited out leaving gaps between the songs that the official release doesn't have! :P -Chin |

Thank you so much, it's perfect! it's actually slightly better quality than the one I linked previously! Although still bad lol, I can finally make a Most Complete merge using this, the official release and various other video clips! So stay tuned to my channel! :P -Chin |

OK this is weird. As far as I know, "Rock In Rio Lost footage" = "Snow Producciones 2DVD release" - officially released songs. And the owner did it only because the officially released tracks were not allowed on the tracker where he uploaded it (JamToThis ?). Or is it something different and worth having? |

The Snow producciones dvd has a low video bitrate of 6000 and poor quality sound. This clip from an alternative first night source sounds pretty good though. |

It's one of a few tracks shown on Globo TV, and no doubt he's purporting to have the whole thing. One of the slimiest of the bunch, with the added bonus of selling his stuff that he downloads from the internet, crops, and adds EQ and pretty menus to. |

I think you misunderstand, the pal clip is neither from Snow Producciones or Globo TV (there is no logo) |

Where does this (clip taken from the full logo free concert in pal) originate, and was it ever shown on QTV in the early days? |

The youtube link on your website has some sort of logo on it though. |

I've got a DVD copy from what seems to be a different broadcast, then. It's these tracks: Somebody To Love, Love Of My Life, Hammer To Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free, We Are The Champions |
Barry Durex 17.08.2016 17:16 |
Ok, can you upload them by any chance? By the way, you didn't mention ITTWWC, so does that mean that youtube clip is not from Globo TV? |

The version on YouTube you pointed to is the standard copy that's been circulating for ages. It's the almost complete show in pretty rough quality. |

I've posted a new thread to address the issue of the existing footage: link Feel free to chime in ! |

And I'm not sure where I found that track listing. This is what's actually on the DVD: 1) Love Of My Life [cut] 2) Crazy Little Thing Called Love 3) Radio Ga Ga 4) Somebody To Love 5) We Are The Champions |

Thanks for the replies. As regards the complete first night, was this ever broadcast then, or was it shown on QTV ? I'm wondering where it came from and if there is a better copy in circulation. |

I'm wondering where it came from and if there is a better copy in circulation.I know of neither answer. I doubt it was QTV, as the quality isn't nearly good enough. The audio is super muffled. It came out over ten years ago. Surely someone around here must have a better back story ! |
Barry Durex 19.08.2016 05:04 |
The audio doesn't sound too muffled to me on those youtube clips. Also, the Caracas concert shown on QTV wasn't so great quality wise was it? |

Some of the material shown on QTV wasn't the greatest quality, and it's quite feasible a full (sub par) version of Rio first night was shown at some point. Caracas was definitely shown (without logos) in the early days. |

Thanks for sharing. Somebody asked me for the ac3 audio from my DVD copy of complete first night as it sounds a LITTLE better than the common version. It's pretty rough but does improve as it goes on, anyway here it is for anyone who's interested. link |
