A PSEUDONYM REMASTER
DISCLAIMER: THIS WAS MADE FOR PERSONAL USE. I'M JUST SHARING IT. IF YOU LIKE IT GREAT IF NOT THATS FINE TOO.
This was one of the first shows I ever got of Queen and it's from my favorite of the japanese tours. I actually had a completely different remaster which I was ultimately never satisfied with. After I lost my flash drive with all my Queen related files I decided to start over from scratch. This new attempt is something I'm very happy with and didn't take as much as I thought it would to achieve either.
I'm almost completely convinced that this recording is actually the 2nd night in Fukuoka and not the first. It makes more sense that Freddie's voice would be having more trouble on the second night as opposed to the first (if you listen to the bits from the other night he sounds much better) It also makes more sense that they would play Somebody to Love, Back Chat, and loosen up with SNAFF on the second night. Plus, if you ask me there's none of those "first night of the tour" vibes that Queen always had.
Also I'm of the belief that the encores actually come from the other night as well, as certain characteristics in the sound line up more with how the "20th" sounds.
I removed the vinyl ticks and pops, and EQ'd it to bring out the bass and treble so the cymbals would be clearer, and to eliminate the cloudiness this recording has. A very small amount of compression was applied. Clipping was avoided wherever possible of course, as I hate brickwalled sound as much as you do.

Thanks for this remaster, although this is 100% the first night in Fukouka, for instance the infamous Body Language crack is at the beginning and Boh Rhap's cracks are there :)
Thanks though <3

Well yeah I mean this is the recording commonly attributed to being the first night, but I feel there's reason to believe the dates for this and the fragment from the other night have been flipped in all documentation.
Fabulous presentation. But you don't seem to know what a lineage is (or what a slogan is). Why do you think you know what an editing software does? Except for providing you a sort of dumb happiness for attempting to do something with very little expertise. PSEUDONYM is a good choice, because impersonality is your characteristic.

Does it make you feel like a big man to bully people from behind a keyboard?

Interesting perspective ! Who knows, you may well be right.
Maybe Mr Peach taped one of these shows and the Tarantura label will put this stuff to rest one day .. ?

I would certainly love if they did do that. Something from the japanese jazz tour would be great too if you ask me
