I think that its not a fake.
From youtube:
New version with more than 9 minutes and with some unheard lyrics. link
or link
Edit: All credits going to Sikke.
I'm not saying there's a problem. I'm just writing the youtube message. If the original uploader wanted his video to be public, he would set it to public and not private.

Ok OK !! I understand, yes, i only saw this link on Facebook and decided to share it here. Yes...sorry...you right !!
This video is unlisted as Sikke's upload. I enhanced the demo as much as I could. The rest of Sikke's video is first and second take repeated twice.
Hope you like it.
OK, let's examine what we have here. There are three sections on the video.
The first section runs from 0:00 to 3:15. This section consists of the two versions of Face It Alone that were played at the 2006 Dutch Convention. Here they have been edited together, but at the convention they were played separately. I can say with certainty that this is the Dutch Convention as there are some noises from the audience that occur at the same time on this video and the recording we already have of that convention. So nothing new here.
The second section runs from 3:40 to 5:50. This is much more interesting as it is different from the Dutch recording, with different vocals and guitar work in places. A short snippet of this emerged a while back, but this seems to be a more complete. This sounds like a convention recording to me, so the most likely source would be the 2001 UK Convention, where Face It Alone was played. That is exciting as up until now there has been no know recording of that convention, so perhaps there is some hope of hearing the other demos played then,
Section three is the same as section one.
^ Section 1 and 3 seem the same alright.
A better quality flac file labelled Demo Recording.... is 3.19 in duration and doesn't seem to be an edit of two versions to me.
A flac file labelled Full Studio Demo is 5.20 in duration.
A flac file labelled Instrumental Guitar Demo is 3.58 in duration.
None of these have convention background noise.
The middle section of the YouTube ''convention'' recording sounds like two demos playing along at the same time to me.
